UGH!
Good thing it was light out when I woke up this morning and walked into my computer room, damn cat puked on the floor again. And what sucks is that since it looks like the color of his food, it stains the carpet. Can't tell if it was a furball puke or him having an upset belly. *grrr!*
This weekend was another lazy day. Saturday, hubby and I made a trip to Ft.Hood/Killeen to see our Army friend and his family. (more like hubby's friend since they've been together since basic training and the only time they were seperated was when they went to Germany). Glen was out in the field so it was just Vicky and the kids. Haven't seen them since before we moved into our new house. The kids have sprouted and Vicky looks like she lost some weight, it was good to see them even though we could only stay for a few hours. The trip to Ft.Hood wasn't all that bad, but then again I slept most of the way. Can't quite remember if it's a 2 1/2 drive or 3 but it seemed like we made good timing. Vicky took us on post and all I can say is THANK GOD that I'm no longer in the service. Ever since 9-11, they have the base locked down (which I'm sure its like that now for ALL military bases). Which means all the entrances have military ppl standing there to check ID's before you can drive through. Those either in the service or family have to have a sticker on your car. If you are there to visit and don't have a sticker, you have to drive off to this one area where you have to sign in and all that crap (which I'm glad we didn't have to go through all that). We didn't get to see much on post cause we just went in to go to the PX and shopped around a bit. Reason being that I'm also glad for not being in anymore is that they assign everyone to take turns on doing the guard duty, not just MP's. (which I think it should be the MP's job anyways). I hated guard duty and I only pity those that have to go through that shit. We left later in the evening and I was so tired, I slept straight through after we stopped to get gas and then once we were home, hubby watched some of the Mavericks game and we went to bed. I barely remember him carrying me on his back up the stairs, just the part where I kept telling him he better not drop me. As soon as I crawled into bed, I was knocked out like a mofo.
Sunday I wanted to get a few things done around the house but that didn't happen. I spent most of the day reading the translations to the manga Mars. Which reading all that I did, it seemed like a good manga, alot of turmoil and such that the characters went through in their lives and a bit weird but it was good. Just like to see more pics of it though.
Chatted a bit with Stefy too Sunday afternoon and she's just down right evil, right along with War Dove. Stefy sent me this full bodied naked Heero drawing she did and of course, the part that we all want to see, she has a foggy area covering it (kinda like the Weiss boys pic that is nude yet got that damn fog in the way). She said she was only using it for a study and doesn't think she'll post it. I told her she should be glad cause then a mob would form to go after her for teasing us with her half naked pics. She did the same to a Duo pic she did for Loyce and Darkwing's bday. I can't wait to see what she comes up for a Trowa pic ^__^. She also sent me a gift parcel which means chocolate from Italy *oooooooooooooooooooh,drools*
War Dove sent me her latest chapter to Demon Seed and I think the fic just gets better and better. I think I'll start posting her fic here for those who want to read it. Since I'm her beta (hence why I get the goodies to look over it first), reading ch.11 just blew me away. It now makes me want to start drawing again and learn how to draw full bodies. Might have to pick up the How to Draw Manga series to help me out. This fic I would love to see all of it illustrated and hopefully if my skills turn out okay, I would like to try it. I can only wish this works whenever that happens.
Time to finish up the dishes I didn't do yesterday and soon take my nap.
