Holiday, anime, and stuff, oh my!
Thanks.G was pretty much a normal day like any other, just that I get to have a night off of work plus getting to eat and make a shitload of food. Sad to see my team lose again on a TG game (Redskins) but hey, it was close! Then the Mavericks lost their 1st game too Thurs night. It was neat having Holly over at my house for a change. The only ones we had over for dinner was father-in-law, hubby, holly, and myself. Food turned out good and plenty of leftovers for sure. I didn't even pig out, sure I was hungry since the night before at work but I wasn't overly stuffed. Which is good cause it made me less tired. Now when I woke up early Fri morning, I had a piece of cherry pie and then an hr later, I made me up a plate of leftovers *mmmmmmm!*
Sucks ass that I'm at work right now just for one night and its soooooooooooooooooooo slow!!!!! Worse than Wed night. Holly is sleeping in the car since after I get off work in the morning, I'm taking her back down to Houston and then get to hang out with her and Ali this weekend.
Talked to my older sister some more on the phone after we got done eating and discussed what we want for X-mas. She was telling me that she bought the 1st season South Park dvd set and had to tell Ethan (4 yr old nephew) that he couldn't watch it anymore. One day she heard him say a certain bad word that they used and then later on she heard him singing a song which was "Mr.Hankey the X-mas poo". I don't blame her for not wanting him watching it cause he'll be starting kindergarten next yr and the last thing she needs to hear from a teacher is "your son has been saying *insert swear word* or singing a song about a X-mas poo". We couldn't help but laugh at it though.
Wed. night I gave in to the calling of my anime package I take with me to work and started to watch Scryed. Now THAT is different. I'm having mixed emotions right now as if the so called good guys are actually good. I only got up to eps 8 and I hope to watch some more tonight and hope it will start changing my mind on how I feel as of late on the characters.
Now, if I could only pry myself away from chatting right now, I can get a few things accomplished before I head out for the weekend.
