My Dad bought a TEAC reel-to-reel player when he was in Vietnam. Apparently, you could get electronics better and cheaper in Asia then you could in the US then. I think at that time (1967), people in the US still considered Asian imports to be of inferior quality. Anyway, many of my parents' albums that were my favorites were bought for the now-defunct reel-to-reel. Hence my lusting for the Whipped Cream CD. ^_^
