What I saw yesterday morning

Yesterday morning, there were some passing scattered showers that barely lasted for a min or so. My sis was getting ready to take Ethan to the bus stop and when Ethan walked out to the car, he must've been looking up towards the sky. He ran back in the house to tell us to come out and look.

I was surprised the picture turned out as good as it did but then again, I'm using my b-i-l's digital camera which is much better than our's.

Near the top of the rainbow, it looked a bit hazy, not sure if it was just rain near that spot or just the way the clouds were. It's not a glitch with the pic, it really looked like that.

That turned out really nice.

Ooh, that's lovely. Rainbows have a way of cheering me up no matter what's been going on.

Ooh, it's bright! And it's a double rainbow. I can just make out the other one to the left of the main one.

I couldn't tell on how it turned out by looking at the screen in the camera but was really happy that it really did show up as good as it did.

My older sis agrees too about the affect rainbows have. It's been a long time since I seen one, especially this big and bright.

It's been a while since I seen one this big and bright. I don't get the chance to see too many in TX, I believe the majority of the rainbows I spotted were at home in PA. Yeah, I can vaguely see what you mean about a double rainbow.

I'm so happy it turned out as good as it did with the camera. It made my day to see that a rainbow as big as that. The other's I seen in the past were small or very faint.

It was so awesome to see it in person.

I'm thrilled it came out as good as it did. I know we could still use a good bit of rain here in TX, everyone else still gets more rain than us right now.

I kept thinking of the times I had tried to get a rainbow on film and failed...

Welcome back, by the way!
