I was really shocked when I read this considering he also did some voices too on other cartoons.

From the AdultSwim.com board -

Harry Goz, the voice of Captain Murphy, passed away this week. A message from Adam Reed and Matt Thompson, co-creators of "Sealab 2021," follows:
"We are devastated by the loss of our good friend, Harry Goz. Working with him was always sheer joy, and his talent was beyond compare. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, and we shall all miss him dearly."

I have a feeling they might have some sort of special showing of Sealab come Sunday night for him.

Update

Bubba just told me that John Ritter, Jack Tripper from Three's Company, died yesterday of heart problems at the age of 54. I'm still in shock, I'm stunned, its such a kick in the pants.

Here is the article

UDPATE AGAIN!!!!

Another death. Johnny Cash just died which you can read it here

So sad too but I saw this one coming considering his bad health. But the man made great music.

This is probably the bit when I say... 'well you know, these things happen in threes..'. But I won't. Oh hang on.. I just did >_< Whoops. I hate that saying.. it's right up there with 'Where there's Livestock, there's dead stock.' Grrr

Anyway... SO sad about John Ritter. And sudden losses are always so much harder on friends and family. Johnny Cash.. well what can I say, I was raised on his stuff. My Dad was a huge fan. And so soon after he lost his wife. At least they can be together again. (If you believe in that kind of thing, which I have to admit the sentimentalist in me does :-/)

Your right though. Bubba didn't know about that Harry Goz passing away so he was wondering who was next. (he was thinking Jerry Lewis)

it's right up there with 'Where there's Livestock, there's dead stock.'

Ya know, thats the first time I heard of that.

Thats so true. Even considering how the passing of my dad was a shock to everyone, I know how ppl feel now when it comes to stuff just popping up when you least expect it to.

As for Johnny Cash, same here. My dad's parents are the ones that listen to the old skool country (even though I never really considered Cash overly country though) so I know I grew up with some of his stuff as well. Kinda sucks when "legends" like that die even though no one is immortal. Kinda like how I felt when George Harrison died and then the idea of when the next Beatle is going to go.

No prob. gotta spread the news once it hits for those that don't know till later.
