I don't know why I don't update things after the weekend since I normally don't do much on my Mondays anyways at home. For the most part I finally got all of the cds burnt that Barb wanted and I was going to head to the 24hr post office last night but hubby said they might not be open yet cause of them having Vet day off. So I didn't bother to even make the trip at work to check to see if they were open (cause I think so too that they wouldn't have been).

I'm debating now as to what I should do for my Saturday's when I'm home and not at someone else's house when it comes to sleeping. I went to bed for once earlier after I got off work and got up around 4:30 pm (was then awoken even more from laying in bed with hubby checking up on me and then Lucky calling about the manga's). I still went to bed at a decent time Sat morning after talking on the phone for a bit with my sister. Later I did more dishes and watched my Beatles Hard Day's Night dvd since hubby was still at the fire dept out on calls so that prevented us from watching the other movies that mom sent. I was going to stay up a while later Sat night since I slept in all day but since nothing is on tv anymore on weekend nights and hubby wanted me to go to bed with him early for a change, I decided to hit the hay around 11. I need to either #1. not sleep in all day on Sat or #2. Don't go to bed so early in the evening. Reason being, I woke up around 1am, had a hard time going back to sleep, heard the alarm go off for hubby to get ready for work (3:15am mind you), said good bye to him, slept for like a half hr and then just laid there in bed, unable to get back to sleep. By this time it was 4:15-4:30am. I tried reading to make my eyes heavy but that didn't help much. Finally got out of bed around 5:30-6am, made coffee and surfed the tv to see what movies might still be on. The only good thing I saw was George Carlin on HBO and that man is just hella funny, he tells it like it is and I just wished more ppl thought like him.

Sunday I managed to finally clean my computer stand and put up all my doujinshis on the shelves like they should and labled them by circles and misc couplings. I lost count on how many I have and the worse part of it all is that I wouldn't mind eventually collecting the rest of the Rising Earth series since I have a good bit of them. But they are not of importance right now. My god! I didn't realize how cluttered and dirty my stand was till everything was spotless. I still have the left side piece and the top shelf to wipe down but thats about it. I'm so proud of myself ^__^

While laying in bed that early Sun morning, I kept thinking about mom's homemade beefstew and thinking how long its been since I had any. Which in turn led me to want to make it myself for a change and hope that it would turn out okay. I called mom twice that day to make sure I was doing everything right since I never made gravy before (not the bought kind either) Well I'm happy to say that everything turned out okay and I LOVE leftover beefstew, some foods taste better that way. Next time I would like to try to make homemade potpie and beef veggie soup.

Later after hubby came home from work and we ate, I took a nap from being pooped of the work I did that day and that way I could stay up to watch my shows on Sunday night's Adult Swim. Needless to say, I slept through most of the shows. Hubby was about to turn the tv off right about 9pm when Home Movies was coming on and that woke me up just in time to catch it. Its probably the only show I remember watching till I was fully awake at 11pm. I REALLY hate fucking up my sleep schedules on the weekend. I then caught a semi horro movie called Valentine on Cinemax that had the dude who plays Angel (from buffy and such). It was an okay movie, kinda cheesy though. Made you think a couple of times who the real killer was and it really surprised me at the end.

Sunday I also wanted to give the cat a bath while the weather was still nice outside and the house was a bit warmer (I don't want him to get sick from being wet). One thing I learned is DO NOT smile at the cat. He saw that smile and took off somewhere upstairs. I think he knew I was up to something. He don't mind getting baths, its just sometimes he can be a pain in the ass about it. So I wanted to do it on Monday but it was a bit chillier and I wasn't in the mood to do it either. If the weather holds out before I go to bed in the morning, I might look into doing it then.

YAY! Soon time for me to get off work, I just dread the long trip home. *bleh*

Well ... your hubby was right the post office and banks were closed yesterday. But I look forward to the cds coming. Maybe I still and watch nothing but cds on Monday since that will be my birthday and I'm skipping work that day.

Wow. Hard's Day Night, eh? I probably haven't seen that since ... well the late 60s/early 70s.

Bathing animals are a trip. Kenny usually knows there's a bath forthcoming when Angie takes off his collar. He think sneaks into my room and tried to make himself invisible on the far corner of my bed. I usually end up picking him up and carrying him to the bathroom at that point.

Sleep patterns are elusive sumbitches... Just when you get it established the littlest of things (like a nap for instance) will screw it it.

I sent your cds last night and let me know when you get them. WEEE! Bday party time!! *snickers* Birthdays are so overrated they use to kick ass when your younger. I tend not to think about my age and then ponder "how old am I again? I sure as hell don't feel it." (at least yet anyways)

Damn you ARE old huh? HAHAHAHAHAHA just messin. Yup, I've been a huge Beatles fan since mid '90's and mom was always a fan when she was young so it rubbed off on me. I already have HDN and Help on VHS from a boxset but after watching them for so long, I'm glad they are coming out on dvds cause my tapes are worn. Ah..cheap british comedy, it never fails. I have this parody for my computer I got a long time ago called "The Rutles" and it has Eric Idle as one of the Rutles and its such a cheesy comedy spoof of everything the Beatles did. From what it said, they use to do the spoof on OLD SNL but I guess that was before my time.

Does Kenny fight when you put him in the tub? I'm really surprised that our cat behaves so well, most cats would be buck wild and fight with you endlessly just to even get them wet. One time hubby and I both stood in the tub with Sam and Sam was just so terrified for some odd reason and he peed. That was the first time he ever did that when giving him a bath, we couldn't help but laugh.

I actually use to get decent sleep when I was still in school and such but it seems as I get older and don't keep myself busy, it just really messes me up big time. Hell I could never keep myself awake when I had some sort of guard duty or some other duty that required me to stay up 24 hrs in the military. Some days I could have good ones where I had no problem staying awake. I don't see how those gung ho ppl do it.
