Oh, Silent Trowa characterizations aren't really very accurate, IMHO.
The guy gives lots of speeches in the series, quite eloquently done. There's a difference between being introverted and being uncommunicative.
He's definitely capable of expressing himself, he does it more often than people think in the series.
It's actually Wufei that has the fewest lines in the series of all the characters. (Quatre has the most.) I often point that out to people who insist on "Silent Trowa".
Frankly, I don't know where the idea that Trowa rarely speaks comes from, except for that line that Cathy utters about "quiet friends" when he's talking with Wufei after New Edwards. But, Heero gets called a "quiet boy" too (more than once) and no one makes a big deal about it. *shrugs*
