Let's see where to start for today. Well its mom's 50th birthday today and hard to believe she's that age but she still looks good for it. Tomorrow my older sis has planned a surprise shindig and boy will mom definetly want to kill all of us then ^_~. She doesn't like to be surprised like that cause then it makes her cry.
This afternoon before heading to sis's house so we could go out for mom's bday, we stopped at Toys R Us so mom could exchange one of my nephew's toys. So while she was getting something to replace that toy, I somehow decided to check out the school section and low and behold, they still had two Quatre folders, GW bookbags, and a Trowa notebook. I picked out the only black Heero bookbag to replace my other Duo/pilots bookbag whenever that one develops holes in it, I'll have something to back that one up. I also got the Trowa notebook *drools* This really surprised me since I can't find anymore type of GW stuff in the stores down in TX and this is PA we're talking about here that I found this stuff at today. PA doesn't have squat when it comes to anime stuff and to see that they still had a few things at this Toys R Us has made me a very happy person today.
My brother in law treated all of us to dinner for mom's bday and boy am I still stuffed! It was a pretty good seafood place called Bumper Bob's and later my hubby and bro in law got the waitress to bring in one of their small cakes. It was all surprising to us who didn't know about it and after we got done singing to mom, she had tears in her eyes but then later had to laugh at us. She goes "I oughta kill one of you guys for planning this and we were all thinking 'Just wait till she sees what we're doing for her tomorrow ^^;;;'"
I got a headache that won't go away, I'm still full, and me sleepy. I'm only hoping that I don't get up at 5am again like the past two days cause of being hot. This time though I'm sleeping with the fan on so hopefully that won't be a problem.
I'll be sure to update sometime tomorrow on how mom's surprise party went. Hell even I can't wait to see her reaction. I'm crossing my fingers, toes, and eyes and praying my ass off that it doesn't rain like what they were calling for a chance of.
