I don't know if its me or what but Sundays feel like a time to really do nothing. I should be cleaning the house some more but I have tomorrow to do it (since it seems like I usually do most of the work on mondays).
I finally got around to making a copy of Holly's Afest tape so now all I need is to get the tape from her that has me and Ali wrapped up in packing tape courtesy of Holly herself *giggles* That day was too much fun.
Also finally called mom. Talked about a whole bunch of crap but I can't wait till either her or my sis sends me pics of my 4yr old (Ethan) and 1yr old (Dylan) nephews in their halloween costumes. Ethan I believe went in his damn Power Rangers costume and Dylan was a devil (awwwwwww!!!) Mom told me that Dylan started walking a few weeks ago and now that he knows that he can walk, he loves it. Except she says if he's on someone else's floor that is foreign to him, he's a bit afraid as if it will bite. I think he's also finally getting over his shyness to guys (except for his daddy of course), he let my sis's friend hold him and he didn't fuss. Mom also said that Dylan is trying to speak a few words but not much as of yet. Dylan has a really bad habit of putting things in his mouth that he finds either on the floor or anything he can get his hands on. Sis said that he's worse than what Ethan was at his age. YAY! Mom is soon sending me a package that will have the new Stephen King book "A Buick 8" and dvds of Beauty and the Beast, Scooby Doo movie (which I have yet to see but I'm taking her word on it that it wasn't too bad), Spider Man movie, and Beatles "Hard Days Night" (which I have on vhs but I've watched my tapes so many times, I think they are wearing out)
Must be Nirvana weekend on MTV2 cause of their greatest hits cd coming out on tues. Its just weird to see all this hype about Nirvana again and poor Kurt is dead. But I'll never forget the heyday in the mid '90's when all the grunge was coming out, those were the good ole days.
Last night went to a small club to watch my sister-in-law's hubby Jade play drums in the band that he's with (for the time being) The band was pretty good, its been awhile since I've seen any type of live band play. Before they came on to play, the singer played a few accoustic stuff and the one song he did, was hella cool! Its a bit odd to hear Tool's song "Sober" in that format but it was still awsome. Speaking of Tool, I see they are on tour again and mid Nov they will be in MS so if they are going to be that close, I need to check to see if they will hit Dallas again. If so, I need to find out when and HOPE to hell that hubby and I can go. If Perfect Circle is awsome live, I'm sure Tool will be just as great.
Must go watch the Inu Yasha I taped last night, I'm hoping its the eps when Shippou makes his appearance ^__^
