Sometimes I wonder if I'm okay, physically and mentally.(no comments from the peanut gallery either!) Perhaps a sleeping disorder of some sorts of getting too much damn sleep. Reason being is that yesterday was the most weirdest days I have been through. I finally got to sleep around 11am and I had my alarm set for 4pm. I don't recall my alarm going off nor me getting up to turn it off. When I finally did wake up, the clock said 9:45pm (which since its set 15 mins fast it was only 9:30), I laid there wondering what day it was and then thought that it can't be night time already. It then occured to me that I was not dreaming and that it really WAS 9:30pm!!! What did that mean to me? It meant I was late on heading to work since it takes an hr and a half to drive to dallas and I have to be at work at 11pm. I fucking FREAKED!!, I was in near hysterics after I called hubby to tell him I just woke up since he left 6 messages for me on the machine. I wanted to cry, I NEVER EVER did this before. I slept straight through the day and never even woke up like I normally do if I have to go to the bathroom or just get tired of staying in bed. Called into work letting them know I was running majorly late, showered, grabbed something quick to eat, and left at 10pm. Some help my cat was, when he sleeps on the bed, sometimes he will be a pest when you are sleeping in too long but when I woke up, he was still on the bed acting as if nothing was wrong. My life to be a cat, thats all I want!!! Maybe I will be reincarnated as one when I die. A house cat would be nice that way I know I have a home and will be loved (just as long as I'm not tortured by the family's kid/s and or dog)

I made it to work in good time around 11:30 and for the most part less traffic I had to deal with too help made the ride go alot quicker.

*sigh*

I know I'm a bit late on telling how my weekend went. Saturday I went to Black Rose's (aka Jen) place and spent the weekend chilling with her. I haven't seen her since Afest and this is probably the longest I've gone w/out visiting her. After I woke up from my usual nap after work, she and her hubby came back from shopping and we sat around just yapping and catching up on things. Later on she and I headed out to pick up Mike and Rachel (the real live Heero and Relena couple) so they could hang out with us for a bit. Then we headed to Planet Anime cause I told Jen earlier about Hellsing and it seemed to perk her interest and wanted to see if they had the dvd to rent. The guy was just putting it on the shelf but it was the 2nd dvd since someone already rented the 1st one. We got it anyways cause I was dying to see the dub. I also finally got me a Shippou plushie!!!! *squeals* He's adorable!! They also had some cute Inu Yasha pins but I won't get any of them till later when I think about it. They also had some cool Hellsing shirts so I had to get me one as well ^_^. Went back to Jen's house, watched Samuri X the movie that Rachel brought with her, ate, and then headed out to the movies to see Spirtied Away AGAIN! which I don't know why cause Rachel saw it before and Jen wasn't overly enthused to see it, I guess Rachel wanted Mike to see it. I slept through most of it but I'm glad I did cause that way I had a quick nap so I could stay up later to watch more anime at Jen's house. After it was over, we took Mike and Rach home and when we got back to Jen's, we sat and watched the Hellsing we rented.

My thoughts on the matter for the dub......... WOW!! [livejournal.com profile] bearilou was right, the dub to me, is FUCKING GREAT!!! The voices I'm so impressed with and like Jen said, its better to hear it in the dub version since the setting is in England, its better to hear British voices than Japanese. Integral's voice is just how I pictured her to be, a tough as nails balls to the walls brit! (her voice actor kinda sounded as if she had a stuffy nose though), Walter was great, Alucard's voice was excellent, and Victoria's kinda reminded me of Kelly Osbourne *snickers*

Since the dvd we watched was eps 4-6, it had the eps where the Valentine bro's show up. OMG!!!! I never laughed so hard during a dub anime. Yan's character in english was just so funny. Never in my life have I heard the Fuck word used so much in an dub anime. Just about every word out of Yan's mouth was fuck and here and there on other eps, it was used a bit too O__O. Between swearing and sexual innuendos (the teenage couple in eps 2, the girl was giving her boyfriend "head" but you have to watch very carefully cause the faint blood you see in the front of the scene makes it a bit hard to see her head under his coat), but hell, its what makes the show especially if it was made to be put there.

So now I got Jen hooked on Hellsing that when we went to Planet Anime again on Sunday, she bought the 1st dvd. I want the dvd now but I'll wait till the last two come out so I can get it as a complete set. The guy at the store told Jen that they are releasing it every other month so the 2nd was just released. I was hoping that it would all be out by the time X-mas rolls around but it won't. *sigh* Then after we watched the 2nd dvd saturday night, I wanted to show her eps 10 when Integral is getting operated on and she has flashbacks on when she 1st met Alucard. So we watched that on her computer and then I asked her if she wanted to see the very end just so she can see how things between Integral and Alucard progresses. It does leave it up in the air but you can make your own speculations (that is if they don't make anymore to this anime). We ooh and ahhed and laughed a bit. She definetly likes both characters now and likes how tough Integral is.

After our Hellsing watching was over, I asked her if she wanted to watch some of Full Metal Panic since it was getting pretty late (around 3am). We stayed up watching 1-6 and she loved it! She couldn't stop laughing at the moments with Chidori and Sousuke as well as Kurz's silly moments. Then we sat there joking around about picking out Heero and Relena moments that could've been while comparing it to Chidori and Sousuke, even though Chidori and Sousuke are more open and silier than 1xR. But being the fans that we are, we couldn't help it *giggles* We stayed up till 6:30am watching FMP and I let her borrow all my FMP discs/ep's so she could download them for her own collection. Now I got her hooked on FMP MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

She also got Soul Taker on dvd and said it was pretty good. The Ocean Group cast does the voices and she said it was funny to hear Quatre voice the main dude in Soul Taker. I believe she said Mark Hildreth was in it and I think Scott too but not sure. We didn't have time to watch that while I was over so next time I told her when I stop by, that we'll watch it. We also made a list while at Planet Anime as to what other anime we want to rent.

Mike and Rach came over again on Sunday and she brought this promotional dvd she bought for $2 at Afest I believe that had a few anime on it. One of them being the 1st two eps of Fruit Baskets. I kinda groaned inwardly cause Funimation picked it up (they are the ones that dubbed DBZ and YYH) but I was actually pretty shocked on how well it was done. FB is such a cute and commical anime that I'm now hooked on it and can't wait till they bring more out. And speaking of Mike, that boy lives up to his Heero reputation with the hair. No matter how he combs it, it still ends up looking messy. He can't do a damn thing to his hair hehehehehehe. He's such a silly kid and this is the most I've got to hang with those two.

Must go conjur up some links to make for the next entry.
