Let's see where to start off first. People who have their X-mas outdoor decorations already set up outside their homes and have the shit lit at night. A few weeks ago (yes this was in Oct), this ranch house I pass every day to and from work already had their decorations set up outside the gate and by their house. The only way I can understand why someone would do this is if they will be gone for a few weeks and just have it knocked out so they don't have to worry about it when they get back. Its not the case with these ppl. Last night they had the lights lit.

Another house just put their decorations up too, lighted lawn ornaments and colored lights that trailed down their fence. They too had their lights on and it just totally disturbs me. I can also understand stores having their displays out earlier, but not when it comes to ppl already having their X-mas stuff up and turned on. Whatever happened to Halloween and Thansgiving????? Are they like non existant now???

We've always kept the tradition ever since I was little and even now, to put up our X-mas stuff the day after Thanksgiving (we got alot of shit for only two ppl living in the house). When I was still living at home and dad was still alive, he always wanted a live tree. We normally got it the 1st Sunday in Dec or perhaps the 2nd week, just depends on what we were doing. I also inherited a trait from dad, wanting to keep the X-mas stuff up till, like forever *giggles* If it were up to dad, we'd have the tree up till the summer (regardless if it was dead or not ^_~) but mom got the shits of seeing the X-mas stuff still up in the house near the end of Jan and made sure that things were put away. I'm trying to think how long we had our X-mas stuff up last yr in the house but I see why I go through this faze. Having as much crap as we do, it seems to take alot of time decorating since we try to figure out what we have room for and what we don't. AHHH! I need to quit talking about it, its bad enough these past few months have gone by so fast.

Another topic of Moronic People are the ones that run Nickelodeon. I had a feeling a month or so ago that they took off Invader Zim from the Slam slot just cause after Speed Racer was over, there is a dumbass cartoon called Super Duper Sumo Wrestlers (or some shit like that) that is now in the line up that Zim had. If only Nickelodeon had done some background research on Zim and how demented the creator is (by the way he RULES!), they would've known how dark it was going to be. They appearently thought that Zim wouldn't bring in the viewers and that "kiddies" want to see shows based on school settings, which to me is bullshit cause well, Zim did have a school setting from time to time. I'm sure they did have quite a few older teens as well as us older ppl fans of Zim. I was shocked that they had the nerve to even play an eps of Zim the night of Halloween. Since there were to have been more eps of Zim that will not be shown now, I just hope that they plan on releasing it on dvd.

Here you can read up more on the situation at Neko Con last weekend that had the voice actor who did GIR explain the shit. (*snickers* He actually looks like the kid that is always trying to blow Zim's cover as an alien)

Also check out these pics from the Invader Zim crew. The dude that did Zim's voice, he sure looks familar. Also I finally got to see Billy West and the dude that does Sponge bob looks like.

I don't know why I don't update things after the weekend since I normally don't do much on my Mondays anyways at home. For the most part I finally got all of the cds burnt that Barb wanted and I was going to head to the 24hr post office last night but hubby said they might not be open yet cause of them having Vet day off. So I didn't bother to even make the trip at work to check to see if they were open (cause I think so too that they wouldn't have been).

I'm debating now as to what I should do for my Saturday's when I'm home and not at someone else's house when it comes to sleeping. I went to bed for once earlier after I got off work and got up around 4:30 pm (was then awoken even more from laying in bed with hubby checking up on me and then Lucky calling about the manga's). I still went to bed at a decent time Sat morning after talking on the phone for a bit with my sister. Later I did more dishes and watched my Beatles Hard Day's Night dvd since hubby was still at the fire dept out on calls so that prevented us from watching the other movies that mom sent. I was going to stay up a while later Sat night since I slept in all day but since nothing is on tv anymore on weekend nights and hubby wanted me to go to bed with him early for a change, I decided to hit the hay around 11. I need to either #1. not sleep in all day on Sat or #2. Don't go to bed so early in the evening. Reason being, I woke up around 1am, had a hard time going back to sleep, heard the alarm go off for hubby to get ready for work (3:15am mind you), said good bye to him, slept for like a half hr and then just laid there in bed, unable to get back to sleep. By this time it was 4:15-4:30am. I tried reading to make my eyes heavy but that didn't help much. Finally got out of bed around 5:30-6am, made coffee and surfed the tv to see what movies might still be on. The only good thing I saw was George Carlin on HBO and that man is just hella funny, he tells it like it is and I just wished more ppl thought like him.

Sunday I managed to finally clean my computer stand and put up all my doujinshis on the shelves like they should and labled them by circles and misc couplings. I lost count on how many I have and the worse part of it all is that I wouldn't mind eventually collecting the rest of the Rising Earth series since I have a good bit of them. But they are not of importance right now. My god! I didn't realize how cluttered and dirty my stand was till everything was spotless. I still have the left side piece and the top shelf to wipe down but thats about it. I'm so proud of myself ^__^

While laying in bed that early Sun morning, I kept thinking about mom's homemade beefstew and thinking how long its been since I had any. Which in turn led me to want to make it myself for a change and hope that it would turn out okay. I called mom twice that day to make sure I was doing everything right since I never made gravy before (not the bought kind either) Well I'm happy to say that everything turned out okay and I LOVE leftover beefstew, some foods taste better that way. Next time I would like to try to make homemade potpie and beef veggie soup.

Later after hubby came home from work and we ate, I took a nap from being pooped of the work I did that day and that way I could stay up to watch my shows on Sunday night's Adult Swim. Needless to say, I slept through most of the shows. Hubby was about to turn the tv off right about 9pm when Home Movies was coming on and that woke me up just in time to catch it. Its probably the only show I remember watching till I was fully awake at 11pm. I REALLY hate fucking up my sleep schedules on the weekend. I then caught a semi horro movie called Valentine on Cinemax that had the dude who plays Angel (from buffy and such). It was an okay movie, kinda cheesy though. Made you think a couple of times who the real killer was and it really surprised me at the end.

Sunday I also wanted to give the cat a bath while the weather was still nice outside and the house was a bit warmer (I don't want him to get sick from being wet). One thing I learned is DO NOT smile at the cat. He saw that smile and took off somewhere upstairs. I think he knew I was up to something. He don't mind getting baths, its just sometimes he can be a pain in the ass about it. So I wanted to do it on Monday but it was a bit chillier and I wasn't in the mood to do it either. If the weather holds out before I go to bed in the morning, I might look into doing it then.

YAY! Soon time for me to get off work, I just dread the long trip home. *bleh*
