Doobie doobie doo....

Thinking back on the subject title had me missing those old Bud Ice commercials where the penquin would go around saying "doobie doobie do" errily. And they use to have the penquin on the bottle caps too. Randomly thinking, don't mind me.

[gripe]I was checking certain ML's I belong to and this one just made me sit back and laugh. I use to enjoy being in fandoms and being apart of discussions on ML's but now a days, I CRINGE at even being a fan when you have to put up with certain whiny, screechy fangirls who I would like to take out with a blunt object. These screaming meemies on this WK list were crying about how its stated on the Marine site that Gluhen will end at eps. 12, sounding like they are combining #13 into #12 from what I heard is what they did to the ending to the original series too. So these girls are carrying on like babies saying "Oooh I don't want this to end, whine, whine, whine" made me wish I had some cheese here with me at work. My word of advice::

GROW THE HELL UP!!!!

christ, goes to show the maturity level in these people. Its even worse when you got middle aged people on up acting like a fucking 3 yr old getting the gift they wanted for X-mas. At least when I get excited or upset about something, I still act mature about it with a bit of giddyness to my step. I'm really glad that WK Gluhen is a short series and is ending where it is. They should've killed it before they aired the new stuff and my friend awhile back gave me a list of what anime is/has been popular in japan and those that never took off. One of them was WK, which shocked me that it didn't do so well over there, another one was Escaflowne O__O, how can that one not go well over there???!! Esca may had a few flaws but damn, its 100x's better than the # one of the all time favs over there Evangelion *shudders* But then again it seems that the japanese don't get all flustered with their anime unlike how the rest of the fans are elsewhere.[end of gripe]

Then for a change I went to bed early this past morning after I did my usual business when I get off work, had the alarm set for 4pm so I could get a few things done in my room but low and behold, hubby and I slept in till 6:30pm -__-. I do remember the alarm going off cause I was the one that shut it off but I didn't expect to sleep in that long. Then again, hubby came back to bed after doing whatever it was he did while I was sleeping and he's a bad influence when it comes to sleeping in *blows razberries in bubba's direction :p* For the past week, while taking my usual naps, I felt so cramped. Now we have a queen size bed and I usually keep to my own space, but I wish there was a certain furry resident in our home who would sleep at the foot end of the bed instead of thinking he can just flop down on my side and not budge a muscle when I want to move to be comfortable. I love my fat kitty and all but it just gets on my nerves, I should be thankful he isn't scratching all the time like he use to which then shook the bed alot. I would consider closing the door so he doesn't come in the bedroom but I can't be that cruel. *sigh*

Big Fat Hairy Deal about Vday. I'm not the mushy lovey dovey person to begin with so I don't really expect anything. I'm sure I shocked the hell out of bubba this morning when I had a card sitting on his compy stand since I get yelled at for not giving him cards for certain occassions *hehehehehhe* I had a nice streak in me I suppose ^_^ And in turn I found a very cute card from him on my compy stand when I woke up this evening. Besides I think that anniversaries are more meaningful than Valentine's day. It proves that you accomplished another yr with being with that person ^_~ True is it not?

YAY! I finally completed downloading #15 of Spiral and I'm all caught up for now. Now I'm just very impatient for #6 of Wolf's Rain to come out for download, they are slacking!!!!!!!!!! Shame on them for making me wait for nearly a whole week!!

WOOOOOO!!!!HOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Many glomps to seidoo_ryuu for more 3x11 Sims screencaps. Between kissing and the naughty bed pics, WOW!! O__O It boggles the mind to see them just going at it like bunnies so much, makes this fangirl super ubber happy! The crazy brit Saz has also shared with us more of her happy 1xR/6x9 home with her Sims, its so silly, it makes me laugh everytime I check out the pics she made.

As odd as this may seem but its really no surprise that I like watching Spongebob. Then again my 32 yr old older sis is obsessed with Spongebob, its so funny to me when I think about it. I was watching Thurs nights eps and I forget what the one was about but it had to be the funniest damn thing I ever watched. It may be childish and annoying to some but I enjoy watching it. Its kinda like toilet humor.

*scratches head* I don't know why I'm fiddling with this for when I got SMUT I need to finish writing, I'm so close to being done with it, I want to have it completed by this weekend.

Military joke

Courtesy of hubby, I think this is pretty funny, some non-military ppl might not get it. Either way I hope you get a laugh from it like I did, feel free to pass it along. Alot of it holds true so certain ppl out there better take heed and read this and be more considerate.


MILITARY RULES FOR THE NONMILITARY

Dear Civilians,
We know that the current state of affairs in our great nation have many civilians up in arms and excited to join the military. For those of you who cannot join, you can still lend a hand. Here are a few of the areas we would like your assistance with:

1)The next time you see an adult talking during the playing of the National Anthem ... kick their ass.

2)When you witness firsthand someone burning the American Flag in protest ...kick their ass.

3)Regardless of the rank they held while they served, pay the highest amount of respect to all veterans. If you see anyone doing otherwise, quietly pull them aside and explain how these Veterans fought for the very freedom they bask in every second. Enlighten them on the many sacrifices these Veterans made to make this Nation great. Then hold them down while the Veteran kicks their ass.

4)If you are not in the military, DO NOT pretend that you are. Wearing battle dress uniforms (BDU's), telling others that you used to be "Special Forces," and collecting GI Joe memorabilia might have been okay if you were still seven, but now it will only get your ass kicked. (Veterans are exempt from this rule)

5)If you witness someone calling an enlisted Marine "Sir," stand back .. the Marine will kick their ass.

6)Next time you come across an Air Force member, do not ask them, "Do you fly a jet?" Not everyone in the Air Force is a pilot. Such ignorance deserves an ass kickin (children are exempt).

7)Roseanne Barr's singing of the National Anthem is not a blooper. It was a disgrace and disrespectful. Laugh, and eventually your ass will be kicked.

8)Next time Old Glory prances by during a parade, get on your damn feet and pay homage to her by placing your hand over your heart and quietly thank the military member or veteran lucky enough to be carrying her ... of course, failure to do either of those will earn you a severe ass kicking.

9)What Jane Fonda did during the Vietnam War makes her the enemy. The proper word to describe her is "traitor". Hate her or else (asses will be kicked).

10)Don't try to discuss politics with a military member or a veteran. We are Americans and we all bleed the same regardless of our party affiliation. Our Chain of Command, to include our commander in Chief.. (the President ... for those who didn't know) is all that we acknowledge. We have no inside track on what happens inside those big important buildings where all those "representatives" meet. All we know is that when those civilian representatives screw up the situation, they call upon the military to go straighten it out. The military member might direct you to Oliver North. (I can see him kicking your ass already).

11)"Your mama wears combat boots" never made sense to me ... stop saying it! If she did, she would most likely kick your ass!

12)Bin Laden and the Taliban are not communists, so stop saying "Let's go kill those Commie's!!!" And stop asking us where he is!!!! Crystal balls are not standard issue in the military. That reminds me .. If you see anyone calling those damn psychic phone numbers; let me know, so I can go kick their ass.

13)Finally yet importantly, whether or not you become a member of the Military, support our troops and their families. Every Thanksgiving and religious holiday that you enjoy with family and friends please remember that there are, literally, thousands of troops overseas wishing they could be with their families. Thank God for our military and the sacrifices they make every day. Without them, our country would get its ass kicked.
