Is the weekend FINALLY over?!

This is probably the first time I ever looked forward to seeing a monday and a work night at that. This weekend was so freaking hectic, twas like a never ending whirlwind. Spent all Fri and Fri night cleaning, part of Sat morning was cleaning and setting up for the fishfry/late bday party for me.

All in all it turned out pretty good and the fish was good too. We had some of the fire dept ppl over but once they left, it was more of a family gathering since bubba's family came over. The only thing that kinda sucks when I think about it is not being able to have my family down here to share these get togethers and parties we throw.

I got the majority of my bday gifts this weekend. They were::

the Beatles Anthology dvd boxset collection from bubba *snuggleglomps*

Full Metal Panic! dvd #2 and more anime for the compy from wardove *glomps*

Bath and Body Works Sweetpea lotion and shower gel that came with a soft and cuddly doggy from soraaoi *huggles*

Some french vanilla candles from the chick at the fire dept. If all else fails on wondering what to get me for a gift, candles will ALWAYS do the trick.

an antique'ish looking candy dish from bubba's aunt and uncle (which I still wonder what to do with it)

and a little flower plant from bubba's cousin. Now granted I do like plants and flowers but I don't overly care to get them as a gift (unless they are reg. hanging plants) cause I'm pretty bad at having a green thumb and half the time they end up dying on me.


Then on Sunday, soraaoi and I went to see PoTC again and this time I kinda picked up more than what I might have missed the 1st time around. But I do know this "Why is the rum gone!!??". I love Jack's character more and more. After the movies we went to Sam's Club and then went home and watched Sleepy Hollow.

Sunday finally came to an end as I showed Holly her way off back home while I went to my nephew's place for a little.

It was good to see soraaoi again since the last time I saw her was at Akon. Let us hope and pray for Oct to get here pretty quick so I can finally make a trip down to Houston again.


So now I'm stuck doing DISHES AGAIN! But at least I don't have to wash all those pans we used from the fire dept to put all that fish in, bubba said that he'll be nice and do those for me. But still, its the idea of doing dishes PERIOD that I'm beginning to go mental over.

Now to do a little dishes, paint the trim out back of the house, and later finish watching my FMP #2 dvd.
