The stuff before the REAL stuff happens ^_~
I realized Wed. night at work at just what a TRUE blonde I really am. Out of all things I forget to pack and I had to forget my black pants, the KEY part to my Alucard costume *DOH!DOH!DOH!* Could be the fact I was looking at my legs at work and I noticed I was wearing a pair of blank pants, then started to put 2 and 2 together when I came to realize what I forgot. BUT tis a blessing that bubba's work is right across the street from the hotel/con and he has to work tomorrow. THEN I forget to pack my comb (can't stand brushing out my wet hair with a brush, makes it too frizzy), and then Stella reminded me Wed night on chat about borrowing my dog tags, Lucky wants to watch my Full Metal Panic! dvd #2 (which I don't have with me at the moment), also to bring my own pillow since I HATE the hotel's flat ass encased feathers and the bastards only give you four pillows *smacks the hotel staff with their own crappy crap* and I THINK thats all for now on my list, have to recheck it in the morning when I get off work.
So not long after I get to the hotel, Trish made her way safely to the hotel and had no problems with the directions we gave her. It was good to finally sit down and talk to her again since the last time I saw her all that much was at Akon '02 (since she was my roomie then too) and I only saw her for a tiny minscule bit at Akon this yr. Then while in the shower, Holly called to let me know she was not far from the hotel, glad to see she made that long trip from Houston okay and didn't get lost. Nice to see Michelle again too since I only saw her for a bit at Akon this yr. So 6:30 came around and Trish and I decided to check in about picking up our pre-reg's. Looked around to see the tables set up but NOTHING was there!! *slaps hand to forehead and sighs* Figures, already getting a bad start like all cons can't seem to get away from. So we walked around for alittle, talked and talked more, sat at one of the tables in the open con area while waiting for SOMETHING! ANYTHING! with the pre-reg's. Saw Shinobi and shot the breeze with him since he's working the con and was telling me about what all problems they were having and about different anime thats out there. Seems like they couldn't bring up whatever they needed on the computer for the registrations, BUT it must've been something with the hotel internet line cause I tried my laptop and it wouldn't connect either. Oh yeah! Something shocking now to see in the hotel, is they have a little network box where you can hook up your laptop and they even supply you with the cord. BUT the thing I don't know is if they charge you for it or not, there's nothing that says anything plus the Wingate Inn across the street from work offers FREE internet in all the rooms. *shrugs*
FINALLY around 8:30 they had things slowly running, they should be glad this happened on the slower day before the con TRUELY starts on Friday. Went back to the room to get Trish to go pick up our badges (no packets or booklets will be available till 11am tomorrow) and saw Rose, Coley, Loyce, Vi, and Kityvixen when we came back downstairs to get in line. Shot the breeze for a bit before they finally had to leave. Got my badge and I must say the art is MUCH better than the previous crap they used, hell, its 10x's better than anything Akon has ever used.
Made sure to snuggly pin my Heero and Relena pins and my Kakashi pin to badge. Must find a Naruto pin!! Maybe even a Sasuke and Sakura *snuggles*
Went back to the room and noticed that I had an hr to get ready for work, DAMN! the day flew by quick.
YES! Scott and Michael made it here safely too, saw both of them in the hallway by the registration table before anyone showed up. Michael looks mighty fine, about the same scale with Scott *oggles Micheal's arms in the black muscle shirt*

guardianhunter I saw Tony and talked to him for a bit, he was sad too that you couldn't come and just got your message about it. Said that if he would've seen it sooner, he too would've tried to have you make it here but seeing how bad of a shape your car is in, nothing close to a miracle could've made you come now. *kicks Anna's stupid car*
Also if you see thisutdrd let me know what day you plan on coming in and how I might spot you in the crowd.

I can feel my head already throbbing for the lack of sleep today and the upcoming weekend *passes out at work*
