Course like most last days of cons, not much really goes on. Came back to the hotel at a decent time in the morning after work and tried to lay down for an hr or two. Damn cleaning lady knocked on the door and didn't give me enough time to answer it when she opened the door and I scared the shit out of her heheheheehehehe. That'll teach her for not waiting. One of the many things I hate about the last day of a con is getting everything packed and put in the car before check out.
Before the ending VA panel, they had one more autograph signing that Lucky decided to wait in line for. I stood off to the side but decided to go ahead on in to the panel room to get a seat which Opie called me to see where we were (they were already sitting down). The ending panel was pretty silly but I kinda felt bad for Doug Smith since he is kind of a voice actor, just doesn't have alot of parts, it seemed like he was the underdog when it came to his turn to talk. (I don't understand why they brought him in for after seeing this).
Chris Patton was so wired, you could barely keep the guy from sitting still. Then before the panel ended, for some fucked up reason, one of the staff members brought in this big box that had plastic special slinkies in them. So they gave the little boxes to the VA's and I'm wondering "what the fuck are they supposed to do with them?" Most of them would just throw them out to the crowd while TRYING not to hit the chandelier. I was waiting for someone to get smacked in the face with one of those boxes. Earlier, a fan asked if they could all pose for a group pic. once the panel was over. Boy if that wasn't a hoot and a holler. (will post pics later).
So as everyone was leaving and the VA's were filing out of the back side, I got up from my seat since we were waiting for the crowd to leave the room and Scott stopped me to see if I wanted his slinky *snickers*
The only thing left was the closing ceremonies. We sat in it for a little cause we were waiting to get a hold of Scott before he had to leave. Also Trish decided to go home at that time and said goodbye to her. I was lucky that I went to the bathroom when I did cause of overhearing something that came in handy later. So we left the closing panel and I told the girls to lets check the one dealers room cause of what I heard earlier. Scott and Mike were in there before they had to leave to catch their flight so we were able to give them their gifts. Again another comment from Scott about my hair. I always wonder why ppl are so fascinated with my hair. My ends are in need of a trim BAD and my hair color is a bit funky, but oh well, whatever floats ppl's boats is fine by me. Course the last day in that little bit of time is the only time I really got a chance to meet Mike. There's just not enough words on what an awesome, sweet, silly guy he is. I told him I hope they bring him back again not only that but it would be nice if Akon would start getting NEW guests for a change instead of the same ole same ole (aside from Scott of course who is on their list as Invited).

herophelia, and I went over to Bennigans to eat and shoot the breeze to kill time before I had to take Lucky to the airport.
All in all, because I have enough experience with Afest's, this yr was really shotty and dull. Granted our first Afest 2 yrs ago was a much smaller con with the staff hoarding all over the guests and we had to put up with the stalker Rachel, it wasn't too bad of a con. Then last yr even though I barely recall much of it, it was a good con (makes up for it by having Scott stop by the room and having him for a next door neighbor *snickers*) but this yr, I can't put my finger on why it sucked so bad (also aside from our normal Afest group not being able to come).
Never again do I want to do what I had to go through with this con by having to work at my reg. job all weekend and that holiday mon. It fucked things up for me as to what I wanted to do. I'm still pretty tired and it didn't help when we THOUGHT that we were going to have some ppl look at our house and never showed up. So by having the phone by the bed while taking my nap made things worse when some jackass called with the wrong number and was giving me a hard time since I could barely understand him WHILE being half asleep, I should've just hung up on the bastard.
I do look forward to working out again. Feels weird not going to it since last Wed, so I think I'm going to make it up by working out the rest of this week and then get back on track again next Tues. I was going to workout yesterday morning but I still felt like shit after the con so no sense in forcing myself.
I'll get around to replying to other peeps lj's once I get the time and try not to forget. Same goes with the pics, I need to resize them and send them off to someone to host for me and will have a link handy.
