I tried posting this last evening but LJ was being an ass.

This was kinda unplanned for when it came to going to the park on Sat. Bubba called me up Fri night asking me what I thought about it since his sister and her family had free passes. It also depended on how well the weather held up too. Surprisingly enough it was a pretty nice day, not overly hot (unless you were standing in the lines in the sun). Also going later in the months like this, its not overly crowded and we didn't have to wait too long in the lines (thank god!!). We got there early enough Sat morning and the first thing Vince wanted to get on was the Texas Giant (which I believe is the biggest wooden coaster in the US). So we got in line and got close and thats when they announced they were closing the ride, not sure why since they had it running again later in the day.

This was the first time for bubba and I to ever go to a 6 Flags. Granted I've been to other places before like Kings Dominion in Virgina that pretty decent and Hershey Park which is okay. Also I won't write everything in detail or in order what rides we went on cause I just don't feel like it and I can't remember everything.

So we then rode the train around the park to get a feel for what is there and then I told them to lets head over to Gotham City. The first ride we tried there was Mr. Freeze and let me say this......................NEVER AGAIN!! will I get on that thing. It goes from 0-70miles in 3 secs and once it reaches the top, it goes backwards. I don't care for rides that give me a creepy feeling or enough to where it kinda scares me. I remember screaming when the ride started and after that I couldn't catch my breath and that scares me even more nor could I barely keep my eyes open. Bubba still says I screamed through the whole ride but how do I not recall screaming when I could barely breathe???? I argued with him everytime he brought it up yesterday. Once we got off the ride I was dizzy and very woooooooooozy plus I'd like to see the parks electric bill considering how COLD they kept the Mr.Freeze building while waiting on the ride.

We then went to the Batman ride and after trying to calm down from Mr.Freeze, I was a bit skeptical on Batman for the way the seats are set up and the loops and stuff you go on. I must say that Batman was the BEST ride I've been on. Now, on some rides I like to scream just cause I can and I was between screaming and laughing my ass off. You can barely feel yourself riding upside down or hitting the loops.

We went on the one flume ride and also went on the Yosemite Sam ride where it takes you through a water tunnel ride and its cute seeing the underground mine and the Looney Tune characters acting out the scene (even though they did look a bit rough in the fur). Lets see, we went back to the Texas Giant and I thought it was going to be bad too since the first drop looked steep. It wasn't as bad as I thought EXCEPT too many sharp turns that jolts the HELL out of you. Bubba bought the pic that the ride takes and the look on my face is hella funny, eyes shut tight while my face looks pinched. I just can not force myself to watch the ride as we descend down the hills, I have to close my eyes. Another thing I don't get is how can some ppl keep their hands raised in the air during coater rides WITHOUT pulling an arm out of their socket or getting it ripped off???

We then tried out this Mine shaft ride that takes place in the dark. You think its all fine and dandy at first till you feel the car go up the hill and you know its going to drop off somewhere. Well its a good thing I can see in the dark with very very little light that came in from the small holes and I could see the drop coming which I prepared myself by screaming my head off ^_~. It also surprised the hell out of bubba with the drop and the turns. Vince, bubba, and I also went on the pirate ship and I never thought those things were bad but once the ship swings high enough and swoops back down is enough to make me jumpy and scream.

Later on we went on I think it was called Splashdown, the water ride that GUARANTEES you that you WILL get wet, and boy did we ever. Thank god by the time we did that ride, it was already getting late in the evening and weren't going to walk around much more. I hate walking in wet clothes especially in shorts or pants where it rubs against your legs and make your skin irritated. Got on the carousel before bubba and I called it a day. There were at least 2 or 3 other coasters we didn't go on and after looking them over, I'm glad we didn't, I just don't think my poor body could take anymore. I'm really surprised I didn't puke on any too since when we first got there, I ate breakfast/lunch at BK.

I'm also proud of my body on holding up all day and wasn't overly tired. Granted I did get about 2 hrs sleep in my car at work while waiting for bubba and his family to meet me at my work and go from there. Bubba and I got home around 9pm and after I took my shower, I went to bed and don't recall bubba coming TO bed since he was called out twice for medical calls at the fire dept.

All in all it was a pretty good day at the park. Bubba is hoping that we can do this again next Sunday since those passes are good till the 21st just as long as no one else needs to use them. Just wish I had friends close by that would want to go. I have two now I know I can rely on if they were able to make it. No biggie though, bubba wants to try and see if his older sis and her hubby can come.

Did my weigh in and got measured before working out and within a months time, I came down a good bit with my fat count, waist, abs, thighs (that dropped the most), and arms. I was quite shocked on the outcome and quite pleased, just hope that this keeps up by the next month check in.

And since I had some free time Fri. night at work, I was able to resize the Type O Negative pics and uploaded them yesterday so I should be able to have a link ready for tomorrow morning.

Yeah, yeah, the slacker I am and its been two weeks since the show but better late than never.
