A classic birfday today

So yeah like the music geek that I am, today would've been John Lennon's 63rd bday.

And while I'm being geeky, I found it amusingly odd how my nephew's bday was yesterday the 8th and John's death was Dec. 8th which my older sis's bday is Dec. 7th. Yeah, I know, too much time on my hands and on my brain to be thinking about stupid stuff.

So Happy Birfday John, wherever you may be in a peaceful euphoria.

A funny conversation at work this morning

This morning, the main supervisor from the distro area came into the print room to check with me if I had a slow print night since there wasn't much on the cart. He saw my desktop wallpaper and asked if I drew that. I sooo wish I had that talent Bill, I really do. So my work desktop wallpaper is a very pretty fall scene with Heero and Relena by the japanese artist Aiolia Sisters and goes "Is that...umm.....hold on, I'll think of it." So while he's thinking, he was like, "isn't he like a slave to her and does whatever she tells him to do? She gives a certain command."

Why yes Bill, Heero is Rel's love slave *snickers*. I knew what he was trying to say so I said "Oh, you mean Inuyasha?"

Bill: YEAH! Thats it! My son loves watching it (and keep in mind, Bill is late 30's early 40's and his son is about 6).

I couldn't help but laugh to myself, thought it was cute.

So I told him where Heero and Relena came from in which he said he's sure he heard of it too.

I'm sure you have Bill, I'm sure you have. The joys of kids who love their tv or cartoons (and yes I say cartoons cause I'm sure these ppl don't know what anime means)
