We are going through another cold ass spell here but supposedly its supposed to get warmer by the end of the week. I don't know if thats a good thing or not, its almost winter so it just needs to stay fucking cold!! Not this period of 80 degree weather one day and 40 the next. Bubba also heated the spa up yesterday so his sis and her family that came down from NY could sit in it. Well the ones who weren't wusses were bubba, myself, and his 6 yr old neice Abby. Abby seemed to enjoy herself in it. Considering it was most likely 35-40'ish degrees later in the evening, it didnt' fase me too much when I got out but it sure as hell kept my whole body warm till I took a nap before work. The water was over 100 degrees and as much as I don't care for much hot water, I stayed in as long as I could.
Poor dumb dog was curled up on the old towel he dragged out from the carrier instead of either sleeping in his nice dog house or even laying in the carrier. You could see him shivering when he was trying to sleep and tried to curl himself into as much of a ball that he could. Can't say that we haven't tried, just some dogs are really dumb that way, my dog did the same thing back home.
Then I got an email from my middle sis saying that mom needed a list of movies that I want on dvd since they are going X-mas shopping soon. What sucks about that is some of the anime I want comes out on the 2nd of Dec or later so now I'm trying to think what they can get me (would love to have the boxset of Escaflowne though) So as I was reading what she wrote, the thing that boggles my mind is what she is planning on doing. For someone who could BARELLY stand getting a tiny tattoo on the side of her leg of a heart with wings, she's now getting her eyebrow pierced. I shake my head and laugh everytime I read it or just thinking about it. And to top it off, I really don't see her doing it, just wouldn't look right on her. Wish I could get something like that done without having to worry about my appearence at work (even though I do work nights and no one sees me, appearently that doesn't matter to those asswipes).
ARGH! I'm beating myself up over wanting to go see Type O Negative friday night. I really want to see it cause of Moonspell opening for them and this is like a one in a lifetime chance that this will happen again. But I don't want to go if I'm still the only one going *sighs and kicks things* We'll see if any of my recent ideas work.
WOO! Got 4 more weekends to go before I fly home for a week for X-mas.
Need to get my ass in gear and finish what little bit I have to judge for Blissful's fic contest.
