Thanx to all who sent me nice comments regarding my trip! *hugs*

Made here to PA in one piece. The only thing that irked me was my delayed flight in Atlanta. We were already on the plane but it wasn't warming up, NOTHING! Then after 10mins or so of waiting, THEN the pilot comes on saying why we are delayed. The runways were conjested and were waiting to finally get clearence. Well I was supposed to arrive in Baltimore around 11:20am but didn't get in till after 12. *sighs* Oh well, it could've been worse.

The thing that sucks on not letting ppl in anymore to meet up with you once you get off the plane makes it harder to find the ppl that are picking you up. I walked through the opening area at the end and there's this HUGE gaggle of ppl standing there waiting for whoever they were there for. I looked around a bit trying to find my sis and finally saw her waving me as she approached. My 2yr old and 5 yr old nephews acted shy but of course that didn't last long. Right away Ethan wanted me to spend the night at their house. Took FOREVER for the baggage to get on the baggage belt and thank god I didn't have to wait too long to get mine.

One thing about the airports, there were HUGE amounts of military ppl there, especially in Dallas. Bubba and I thought they were on their way of being shipped out but it sounds like though a good bit of them were just going home for the holidays. I noticed there were more Airforce peeps than anything.

I tried to get what sleep I could on the flights but having isle seats kinda make it hard to actually put your head in a comfortable position when you are trying to doze off. And very thankful I didn't have to wait very long either to catch either of my planes. Felt weird though while going through the security part on having to take your shoes off, thank god I wore my sneakers and not my boots.

So once we got into PA, we stopped at my sis's house so she could get her laundry to do at mom's and it was sooooooooo weird to check out her house. She now lives in the house I was born and raised in and you wouldn't dare think it was the same. She's got alot of stuff to fill the house unlike when we lived in it, mom wasn't the kind to fill the house up with nicknacks. The upstairs felt weird cause it felt smaller to me. I guess seeing all the kadiddle stuff up there makes me feel HUGE. Last time I lived in the house was early '96 and the last time I stayed in the house for a visit was '99 before mom moved out. But I must say they did a really nice job on the inside and cleaning up on the outside too.

My family thinks I'm a puss cause I complain how cold it was in mom's house. Granted my sis's agreed how cold it was when we walked in (mom had the thermastat set on 63!!!!!!!) and it was like 35 degrees out!!! They think I'm crazy for wanting it set on at LEAST 70, hell it would help keep the house warmer and it doesn't help that she has wooden floors. But they also have a kerosene heater in the living room for when they want to take the chill out or what have you so needless to say, I made my sis that still lives at home turn it on last night. And I made sure to turn it on this morning when I woke up to get on the compy. I mean COME ON!!! It gets down to the low 20's at night and only 30-40 degrees during the day plus the wind is blowing a little bit, I gotta keep warm somehow and I don't want to bundle up in my clothes either just to keep warm.

Notice my shock when there is still some snow left on the ground!! Gotta take a pic of it before it melts before I leave.

My friend from school Chris called me last night to let me know about them coming over for X-mas Eve. I didn't want to stay on the phone with her for too long or I wouldn't have anything to talk about if they come over. Plus I was pretty tired and didn't want to fall asleep on the phone. Keep in mind this was 6pm and it felt soooooo much later than that. Plus I kept thinking it was a weeknight and not the weekend. Hell, this whole trip thing threw off my track of days, today doesn't even feel like Sunday.

Going to go finish X-mas shopping with my older sis today and will probably spend the night at her place, she's also going to make stuffed shells for me for dinner, and will probably have a Johnny Depp evening if I remember to take my Blow movie along MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!(dinner anda movie tehehehehehe) I'm also hoping to call [livejournal.com profile] fangirlsdelight sometime today to find out and to let her know about meeting up. Damn girl! I didn't think you lived that far!!!!!

Will post more later if I don't freeze here. *shivers*

P.s- I REALLY hate my sister's dial up service ><

Recent edit: Won't do the sister thing today. She called to let me know the youngest boy is dry heaving and doesn't want to mess with the dinner or shopping while he's still trying to get over his sicklies. Thats fine though, bro in law and I will finish shopping and will do dinner either Mon or Tues night.
