Gaming, Akon, and classes

D00d! I'm like so hooked on my gun_grave [/pimp] game!! I don't think I was not only excited but entranced with playing a console game since.....ummm.....saving the princess in original Super Mario back in the good ole days ^_~ (sad to think that was as far back in the late 80's to early '90's)

I can't wait to get my PS2 memory card cause I'm tired of getting to the stage I quit at last time, only to stop there again and not being able to pick up where I left off. But this is good practice for me, I learnt that if you just shoot everything up around you, gains you bonus points for your special attack moves. Not only that but when Grave goes ballistic on shooting things up, I mean he goes NUTS!!! Spinning around, doing funky shooting moves, and he's doing that all himself, I have no control over it but its cool. I'm just waiting for the controller to vibrate out of my hands since I have it on vibrate mode. I can't even imagine how the Difficult setting is. Maybe if I get brave enough this weekend, I'll try it and see what the difference is.

And speaking of Gungrave, the damn subbers need to get their ass in gear and get #14 out as well as #15 since the raw is out for that one.


I finally sent out my pre-reg for Akon on Tues in order to get the cheaper price they are offering before it goes up on Thurs. They sure as hell don't give you much of an open chance to jump on the offers they give before jacking the price up. I also signed up for the banquet again so those on my friends list who are going and staying with me, I hope that answers your future question. Gotta call the hotel soon, get that out of the way. The good thing about living closer again, I can just get the room for two nights instead of 3, that little bit saves money. I'm giving Akon another try. I'm HOPING that this yr will be better since its at a new location/different hotel which I want to check out when I get some free time.


WOOOT! This Sat. starts my manga drawing classes for an hr for 4 weeks at the anime place down the highway from us. *crosses fingers on helping me along* PLUS, I have to work overtime on Sat. That whole day is already shot. After work (pending on when I get off), I'll either head home for a bit, go to the classes, then head out to Tyler for my bro-in-law's 30th bday dinner. Sucks I have to drive out there myself since bubba will already be there cause of him having stuff to do on Fri.


Now to wait for this side fic story to form in my head the right way so I can jot it down *sighs*

WOO!!!!!!! This took about 2 months to complete and is a belated bday gift to a wonderful lady and artist ponderosa121. I'm just thankful that she likes this pairing which made it easier for me to write. Keep in mind, this is also the first time I ever wrote this pair. Extra thanx to my beta for being the best!

There might be a side fic to this since Heero and Duo were both out on that mission. Ya know Heero has to make up for lost time with Rel ^_~. The thought came to me right before I finished this fic. I can't make any promises, but I do like the idea.

Speaking of said couple (1xR), I do have a beautiful completed X-mas pic to post tomorrow. Going to spread the wealth one day at a time.
