Finally found time to write this shit down.
So Sat. I went down to Houston for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
soraaoi's mom's wedding and that whole weekend was just a trip. They were going to have the wedding outside and RIGHT before it started, is when the storm came through so they moved everything inside. Holly's uncle's house was big enough to hold a small ceremony so that was a plus. The mexican food they had catered was good but got so stuffed on the litle bit I ate, I could barely eat much of the wedding cake (actually the chocolate cake was heavenly)
Later they played some music so her mom and Jimmy, and others could dance. Holly asked me to dance with her which I really don't dance at all but gave in. It was the funniest shit but what was even funnier was Holly's little sister's response. She looked over at us and goes "EWWWW! GROSS! Two girls dancing together." Holly looks right at her and says "homophobe!" *lol* I mean come on, I could see it if we were making out in front of everyone but just joking around like that and calling us gay was uncalled for. That girl (brat) has ALOT of growing up to do.
The storms were hellacious all Sat night and most of Sunday afternoon.
Come Sunday, Holly, Courtney, and I went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. Holly says that will be our place to eat now when I come to visit instead of Chinese food. *snickers* Uhnn.....the food I ordered this time was soooo good and just even the sandwich meal is pretty damn big. And then looking at the waitstaff delivering other ppl's food just made you go O_________O such HUGE portions no matter what you get. Sure its bit pricey but its worth it thats for sure.
I really dig Courtney (Holly's now step-sister) and too bad she couldn't come down more often to visit when I visit as well.
SO my trip home Sunday night was quite eventful -__-.
I left Holly's going on 7:30pm and its usually a 3-4 hr trip back home but not this time, oh no! A 3-4 hr trip turned into 7 FUCKING HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the sad thing is, it wasn't cause of the rain either (of what little I had to drive in). There was an accident SOMEWHERE nearing Corsicanna and I have a feeling that it was right when you got to the construction area where it turns into one lane on Interstate 45. UGH! I was sooooooooooooooo fucking pissed!! I was making good time too on the way home. I don't even know how far the back up was but we were pretty much at a stand still. I was sitting there from about 9:30-10:45 when I said fuck it and turned around. I called bubba at work to help me out on directions on what ways would be quicker. So, I had to backtrack 38 miles to get where I should exit at and go on from there. Thank god it was alot of open back roads and no traffic. Some spots I would feel kinda sleepy but not that bad. I hit a possum, which is its own fault for walking out in front of the car at the last minute and those fuckers deserved to get hit for walking SO DAMN SLOW!!!!!!!! Then later on, to my left, I saw 2 deer standing and hoping that they too wouldn't want to cross the road at the last minute since I barely saw them to begin with.
Aside from a pit stop to get gas, I didn't get home till 1:45am. >__< Whereas I normally would've been home around 10:30-11pm.
I just don't think this past weekend was meant to be a good day for either of us, ehsoraaoi?
On a sidenote and I shall quote Holly, I actually looked like a girl on Sat since I was wearing a dress and make up ^_~ I don't think being girlie was meant to be my thing, I don't look right being all dolled up but I do like the make-up from time to time.
