Random things and Gungrave eps.5 screencaps

I'll get the screencaps out of the way first. I'm slowly but surely getting these things posted but since I'm going ass backwards, I'll probably wait on posting what I made of #8 till I'm done on capping eps. 6. (which maybe I can work on that next week) And hopefully by next week, I'll have dvd 3 in my grubby hands which means more as well to come.

Thought I'd also post these before I get around to posting my 2nd fic I made based off the ending to eps. 5.

As always, if anyone has a certain request for a certain scene or screencap that I might not have taken, let me know and I'll snag it for ya.

It is soooooooooooo sloooooooooooow tonight at work. Plus with the fact I have to work OT too isn't helping. I'm also trying to figure out as to why tea makes me sleepy from time to time. I spent a good bit of this evening dozing off since I had nothing to print and I wasn't in the mood to turn my AIM on. So I had to ditch the tea and make strong coffee just to wake my ass up.

Did catch up on some more anime/manga though and the trans that came out for Naruto #239, Kakashi was a little hard edge, out spoken brat eh? *snickers* Hard to believe that he can be this relaxed adult compared to how he was as a kid. I like Obito's character too and love Yondy even though he hasn't done much yet.

Man, it's so depressing to see certain scenes in any anime that was taken from the manga animated. Just watching Gantz #21 reminded me as well as to how depressing that part was. Poor Katou's little bro, I wonder what kind of life he has to live now, especially if that bitch of their aunt took him back in. Now I look forward to the newer stuff coming up. Wonder how long it will be before they take another season break.

Was going to try and write some more re-write to my Smut a thon assignment but since I just finished writing a fic recently, I'm letting my brain relax for a few before abusing it again.

Am I the only one who gets the feeling of creativity when you listen to really good OST's? I don't think I ever felt this way with all the GW ones that came out but other series I have on cd has. Though I think it all depends on how it grabs me. For a few examples::

All the Escaflowne OSTs. I remember when we use to live at the other house and I had that hr and a half long drive to work, I'd pop in a cd and just get awesome brain storms for wanting to write something for Esca. Though I don't think I will ever write it, its always there in the back of my mind.

Both Hellsing OSTs makes me crave something to be written. I still would like to write something for the series but that too, I don't think I will. I'm too picky and I see too many ppl getting picky over how vampires should be written or the characters themselves.

Both Gungrave OST's including the game OST fuels my writing mood. It gives me that background music feeling like how the anime does. I already write for the series so I have no big gripes about writing yet.

Thanx to Barb, I now have both Trigun OSTs. The main OST from the series is eating my brain!!! I really dig the music and already its wanting me to write fics for it but I can't. My only way of watching the series was on tv and I don't own any dvds yet. Maybe if I can get it for either my bday next yr or next yr's X-mas, maybe I can actually write something. I do have the mangas but I think I get more of a creative spark by seeing it animated.

I have to laugh every time I watch Tactics now. Sugino is voiced by Nagi from Tenjou Tenge and I love it when he freaks out when his "wife" throws herself at Kantarou and his "irked" voice is soooo Nagi.

[FIC] Gungrave - "A Risk Worth Taking" and taking requests

I don't normally like making long intros to what a fic is about but if you don't know much about the series or what happened in the eps, then it might confuse some. So I'm going to try to make it short as possible.

This fic came about after watching eps. 5 "Millennion" and seeing how Brandon was in this eps as well as his expressions with those damn "beaten puppy dog" look in his eyes; its like saying SOMEONE give that boy a hug, sheesh, he's depressing me *lol*

Fic takes place after Harry told Brandon the news about Maria's whereabouts. This is Brandon's POV though mostly telling of Brandon's overall turmoil he is faced with.

For somewhat visual affects, starting at pic the 3rd row, 2nd pic (the surprised expression on Brandon's face when Harry told him about Maria) all the way to the end of the caps is what the fic was loosely based on Here

*sighs* Man, I forgot how early in the show how depressing it gets, at least for me.

Saw the ratings from the past weekend for both Sat and Sun and still kinda shocked that the ratings for FMA aren't overly high. Just boggles my mind that Futurama and Family Guy still rank the highest.

ETA: Is that Kel from Kennan and Kel from Nickelodeon, that is now working in SNL?
