Have ye so little faith? and FMA dub

When I got into work tonight, my boss was telling me how two of the other peeps that also work in the print room kept saying that I wouldn't make it into work. Steve said once he saw how the weather was, its why he called me to let me know about staying over at the Inn so I was already in the area instead of battling the roads at night. I just had to laugh at TC and Johnny saying how they didn't think I'd come in. As I told them, I'm like the Postman, come sleet, snow, rain, typhoon, hurricane, etc, I WILL make it to work no matter how long it takes to get there. UNLESS I'm on my death bed is when I won't come to work. Even when I was so sickly ill when I came back from PA after last X-mas, I STILL came to work regardless how I was feeling. Hell, I barely take any vacation unless I have to.

I almost had to walk over to work tonight, my driver's side door was frozen shut but thank god I was able to get the passenger door open.

In fact, last yr when we got hit with really bad weather, you can see Here and if you click on that little green arrow on the right, you'll see just how long I was stuck here in Dallas, YET I STILL made it into work that night when we got hit with the bad weather So suck it!! :p :p :P I was stuck in Dallas for nearly a week that time.

I plan on staying at the Inn either tomorrow all day or just for the morning and head out to buy cat food and go home. Pends on the mood cause the sky is all clear now so that bit of shit we got all went bye bye, except for the bone chilling cold. Though the thing that sucked about this weather and not being at home was that I still have more choco chip cookies to finish baking *sighs*

This past morning, I FINALLY started to catch up on the eps I taped of FMA. It just never bothered me to watch it. I had from eps. 3-7 to watch and I got as far as 6 before going to bed. Roy's voice is actually growing on me and Hughes voice isn't all that bad really. Just have yet to hear Hawkeye talk more. Since its been so long since I really watched this series, I only watched it once (unlike some where I watch it more than once) and its funny how in such little time, Hawkeye grew her hair out. Thank god, she looks so much better with long hair. Fucking Hughes cracked me up when he's telling Roy on the phone while on the train about his preggie wife and her overly sexual hormones *falls over* I can't wait to see the eps when his wife has the baby (though I dread watching the end of that eps *wibbles*) and the future eps when he's pimping pics of the baby to everyone *lurves*

I mean I like the series but I'm still not sure if I want to buy the dvds. If I DO buy them, I'll probably wait till the series is done since Funi plans on releasing THREE boxsets *dies* I like the anime to an extent but I'm finding myself to be more of a fan of the manga than the anime for oodles of various reasons.

I'm almost done with my special X-mas gift ficcie *dances around* It just won't be posted during the holiday since I won't be home and plus I have to run it through my betas as well. And THEN I have to start on my smutty New Yr's Eve fic though I already know that won't be done in time either, just as long as I post it before the end of Jan.

I still have yet to hear from two ppl on boxes I sent out to which would be guardianhunter and puchuupoet. If you guys see this, please let me know when you do get the boxes either through here or email.

Good news and wonderful art gifts

Bubba got a call this morning from the interview lady and HE GOT THE JOB!! (though he still will be working for the same company) He will be making the same pay but at least he's out of the stressful, pain-in-the-ass atmosphere of where he works at now. In about 2 weeks or whenever it may be, he'll be able to start the new job. (his job has to find a replacement that they have to train off the spot)


Also today, I received a wonderful art gift and an adorable X-mas card from jurty.

Getting Shippou for X-mas makes me smile for days!





And....and.....I can't help but giggle over the Bunji w/kitty gift too!! YAY! Bunji and kitty! *lurves* (for those that don't know, Bunji is from Gungrave). The coloring fits so well with the mood of the scene and the character himself.





I haven't been in the holiday spirit but so far things look much better. I hope everyone enjoys the packages I sent out and hope everyone has a decent holiday since I won't be around till after X-mas, might as well say it now.
