Finally back from vacation, actually we've been back since yesterday afternoon. We did pretty good timing from driving to Galveston to home in about 4 & a half hrs. We had to laugh when ppl told us they were from the Ft.Worth/Dallas area and said about it taking them 6hrs to get to Galveston. I'm sure that could be about right but you do the math as to how we can kill off so much time *laughs*

I'm going to try and work on doing a write up about the overall trip today and post it sometime tomorrow. Sorry, no pics just yet. We have like 8 rolls of reg. film and 3 underwater cameras to get developed. Bubba already dl'ed the digital camera pics but we didn't take too many pics w/ that camera when it came to the boat or the places we went to. He still has to work on uploading those so once thats done, those pics will be the ones I'll be able to post for now. God, I can only hope that the underwater pics turn out, the stuff we took pics of with those cameras, the scenes were breathtaking.

I'm also trying to catch up with a few on my flist that I missed last week and surprisingly so, its not quite as hard as I thought it would be since its nice that those on my flist don't overly post so much in one day's time. I only had the chance to check certain friends entries and my community, which allow me to say a big Hello! to the new peeps that joined my comm and those that had added me to their flist while I was gone.

Right now, I'll just list some misc things that went on while we were on vacation and when we got back.

I know I'm going to get yelled at by the doctor but I think I fucked up my bad right ear again *hides shamelessly* This happened when we went on the beginners Scuba diving excursion. I knew, just KNEW something was going to happen, I was paranoid about it before and during but said fuck it and went along on scubaing anyways. My left ear popped okay but my right one was giving me problems and felt like I still had water in my ear. Now my left ear is fine but right one I keep having a slight discharge draining from it and it FUCKING SUCKS!!!!! I can hear out of it a bit though at times is muffled. The doctor on the boat gave me ear drops till I got back and made an appt with the ear doc which thank god I have an appt tomorrow morning (its bad enough that first thing tomorrow I have dental too). It is amazing just how much your ears affect your nose cause since this happened, my nose has been stuffed or running but for the most part, can breath at least through one nostril.

I made a list to those who I wanted to get gifts for but I have a feeling I forgot someone. For some it may be just a postcard but the postcards are so damn pretty and whatever is on the pic is pretty much what we got to see in person.(except for wardove's card, oh how I wished I seen something like that in person *evilgrin*)

When we got home, I was sad to see that Sam ran and hid under the bed from us. The only one that was nice enough to greet us and follow us around was Smokey (the bad kitty). Though I don't blame Sam for being mad at us for leaving them alone for a week, I really did miss the cats while we were gone. It took about an hr or so before Sam came out and jumped on the bed while we were unpacking. I think our voices became familiar to him which made him comfortable to come out.

For those that I told to hold off on sending me anything cause of being away and the PO was holding for us, go ahead and send it out to me now.

I think that was all I wanted to jot down for the time being.

I was kinda shocked to see that the few anime titles I have been watching, there has been like 2 sub releases. The others weren't touched but I think that was a good thing cause it prevented me from pulling my hair out on trying to catch up on dl'ing everything. Now that I'm back, I noticed certain series are catching up now with the subs *weeee!* And yes, I had no clue that an IY movie #4 was even being made. I still have yet to watch 2&3, so is #4 worth it yet?

News regarding Speed Grapher:

FUNimation announces Speed Grapher (2005-06-18 16:30:23)
Today at AnimeNext, FUNimation announced the distribution rights to the anime TV series Speed Grapher. Speed Grapher began airing in Japan earlier this year, and new episodes continue to be broadcast. FUNimation is looking to accelerate the first volume releases of their titles, with the first volume of Speed Grapher hopefully ready in 10 months. All I can say is they better do a damn good job with the dub but for the time being, thank god for the sub side of things.
