This is the last time I'm ever doing a seasonal job.

This is how my work schedule was SUPPOSED to be:

Tues: 10-1, Fri: 10-1, & Sat: 9-12

How it turned out:

This is the 2nd Tues they called me early letting me know I didn't have to come in. Last week cause the shipment never came and this week cause they barely had enough shipment to break down. I worked today (Friday) and we had a shitload of boxes to take care of (me and another woman worked together for a change). By 11'ish, one of the smaller managers came to us telling us to stop what we were doing, finish putting up all the boxes we opened and to leave at 12. >___________< THEN she points out that we also need to take care of some of the gift set boxes before we leave too. Uhh...yeah...SUUUUUUUUURE.

For ppl who don't know, the B&BW I work at is a MAJORLY fucking small store. The stockroom is like a cubby hole to the point where we have to store things in the men's bathroom (don't get used anyways). This store has SUCH A MASSIVE EXCESS of products that doesn't get sold so much or quick and yet, what do we get in the fucking shipment??? MORE OF THE STUFF THEY DON'T NEED or AREN'T SELLING!!!!!!! Whoever working there that is handling this shit doesn't seem to know what they are doing. It drives me batshit INSANE!!!!!! The lady I worked with today went out to check the shelves to see what might need filled and came back to me in a fit (which I don't blame her). Some asstard filled areas of the shelves with nothing but lotion and left no spot for the shower gels. All day today/yesterday, I kept hearing some customers asking about the gels.

We pretty much ran out of shelf space in the stockroom to where we just stack everything on the floor regardless of where it should go.

Yeah, anyways, so we seasonal peeps hrs were cut cause they haven't been as busy as they thought they were going to be during the season. Sure they were packed on Black Fri but when I went to work the day after, it was so slow, I could hear some of them talking in my ear piece about how bored they were. (course my hrs were cut that day too). By the time all was said and done today/yesterday, I left almost at 1 anyways. The main manager chick also told me and the other lady not to worry about coming in tomorrow.

We also got our hrs for next week and I like to see if I'll actually get to keep the hrs I work. I'm to the point of quitting but I'm going to stick it out till the end of the month and just tell them don't worry about keeping me on till Feb. 14th.

I know I'm a bit late since its on right now but Dane Cook is the guest tonight. Hopefully he'll have a few skits and hope they are better than the ones Jason Lee did when hosting. Then again, this is SNL I'm talking about so I'm asking for a bit too much.

ETA: So far so good that he's been in almost all of the skits and they were actually funny too.

ETA 2: I was shocked that tonight's show didn't suck. Dane kept me giggling. I liked the majority of the skits but the ones that I liked off the top of my head were the heavy turtleneck sweater, coma patient, the Target trainee, and Fight Back w/ Victor Ramos.

Good thing I remembered to check to see if it was actually recording. This one will be a keeper and put it to disc. Might have to look around to see if there are any downloads for the shows and if there is, post the link to it.

Dane Cook is so much ♥ ♥ ♥.
