This proves why Dallas radio fucking sucks! I missed out on some bands that came into the area cause I didn't even KNOW they were on tour or even coming here. We have ONE radio station that is alt./rock and some of the shows that did come here, I don't think they'd advertise for it.
I missed out on The Cult in early Oct. and Bad Religion came to The House of Blues near the end of Oct and didn't know about that till the last fucking minute.
Two other acts that are coming here is Debbie Harry to the HoB. And the MISFITS!!! on the 21st of Nov @ the Granada Theatre. I knew they were going on tour cause Jerry Only mentioned about it on the Punk Sirius Satellite Radio Channel (I listen to that on our dish network) on Halloween night since he was hosting. My dumbass forgot to check up on the tour dates till I heard about it this morning when the one station was giving some prize packs away and those tixs were part of it. It probably wouldn't have mattered anyways since one of my co-workers have off that same day. As much as I would like to see the Misfits live since it's their 30th anniversary, I'd be scared to hear how they sound now a days since Jerry's older and Glen Danzig isn't in the band even for this tour. It'd be nice if they could stay on tour early next yr and come back around that way I'm not scrounging on days off and such. What to do, what to do.
