As I was emailing my friend back home in PA, I feel like such a Scrooge as I get older. The only good thing about this holiday is not having to go back to work till Tues night. We haven't had any cookouts or parties since we were still in the Army. And now its like pulling teeth to get anyone to come over for a get together, though it doesn't help when we still don't know too many ppl in this area. These are the times I miss home the most. Even though dad is no longer with us, they still have cookouts and have fun, I've always enjoyed that with my family.
The thing I also miss since I was a kid was how on Memorial Day, the cemetery up from my grandparent's farm, the service ppl will pick a buried Veteran and do the gun salute. I use to get up in the morning and ride my bike to the farm so I could watch the procession.
But I'm not going to dwell on anything since it is just another day. I have cosplay costume props I need to finish up before Akon this coming weekend. Have to sew the cloth shut on the brim of my Alucard hat, buy more grout for my Alucard guns, sand them down some more and re-apply the grout, rinse and repeat. I finished sewing my Tsunade costume last night so thats off the list. Just have to work on the necklace and my hair color.
Even though it is a holiday, I'm hoping that some stores are open, I need to go to Home Depot, PetSmart, Red Lobster for dinner, and buy what we need of groceries.
Since its such a nice day and have to wait till bubba wakes up, I might take advantage of the day and play around in the pool and HOPEFULLY get more sun.
WEEEEEEEE!! I also have new eps of anime to watch later to keep me busy; Naruto 85 and FMA 33 *bouncebounce* Though I would like to add some more to my fics too *sigh*

jurty, I was able to find a way to take pics of my wedding pics with the digital camera. They turned out okay, just have to wait till bubba dl's them to his compy and I shall email them to you ASAP. ^_____^
