Catching up
Since bubba went to his family's place today/tonight, gave me a bit of chance to get a few things done around the house. Did laundry, went swimming, called mom, made a mess in the kitchen when cooking dinner *sighs*, and maybe just maybe I might even get around to cleaning off this way messy compy stand.
Also caught up on watching some recent anime:
FINALLY eps. 9 of Tenjo Tenge! In some ways, Mitsuomi isn't a bad looking guy, just needs to deflate a bit of his overly buffed body, and he'd look better. I also love Bunshichi's character (or should I call him Booby man *lol*)since he first showed up in the manga. He knows when to step in at the right moments and tries not to get involved.
Though I always thought the relationship between Maya and Mitsuomi was one sided. From what I see in the manga, he's the one that seemed to have wanted her but Maya was so tied up with her brother (aside from Mitsuomi fucking that other chick in the manga too doesn't make sense either of no love on each side). Isuzu and Mitsuomi would make a better couple.
I doubt that they will focus too much on the past (god I hope not, it dragged on FOREVER in the manga), but the relationship between Maya and her brother was a bit incestuous, mostly on his part. Plus I'm still a bit lost on the whole fight that her bro and Mitsuomi had against each other. *tries to keep head from spinning*
Not sure how the anime is going to end the series but for the manga, I think the one who should take Mitsuomi down is Masataka (his brother). I mean it would only make sense, kinda has that Itachi vs. Sasuke feel to it. The "You have to be stronger than me in order to defeat me" bit.
Though at the end of this eps, I kinda would've liked to have seen them use what was in the manga. Bob was helping Aya out regarding Nagi. Masataka wanted to carry Aya when Bob was like "no, Nagi has to." Poor Masataka *jaw drops* *lol* There was a whole bit regarding that part but I guess its not too bad on just them showing Nagi carrying her out w/out putting up a fight about it.
I will say this though before I end it for this series......
Naruto #88 - Is it me or does it look like Tsunade is a bit fuller in this eps? I don't know if its her hair or the fullness of her face but it wasn't like that in the previous eps that showed her up close. And Orochimaru, is such a baby. Suck up the pain and drive on you crybaby! *lol*
Naruto manga #220. A bit of a shocker that Itachi actually showed kindness to Sasuke when they were younger. Its pretty sad when your own father forgets his youngest's opening thing for school till Itachi brings it up and for goes the mission to be there for Sasuke. I wasn't expecting this flashback for a whole chapter though.
Now to watch Gantz 10, catch up on the recent chapters to the manga as well as catching up on TT's manga vol. 10 thru 12. *headdesk* Though the manga will have to wait till I have more time at work.
Time to do another defrag on this thing since I've got around to burning half the anime to disc and clear the compy out for a change.

Actually I think it's nice that the manga showed that Itachi did care about Sasuke. Although will we ever know why he turned out the way he did is anyone's guess.

Yeah really, considering that he could still chop a tree in half by, ummm....doing something. Not sure how he did that still.
IF they ever get the chance to perhaps go that far, it would be nice to know more about Itachi and what made him change to be such a cold hearted prick.

I couldn't agree with you more. Facially he's not bad looking at all, but then we hit below the neck and it's like, "Eh? Are men supposed to have man boobs that big?" Gimme a wimpy looking strong guy any day, like Masataka. I also have to agree with Mitsuomi and Isuzu being a better couple. But where does that leave Maya (who I heart by the way)?

I don't think Masataka does the narration in the manga. I'm not even sure IF someone is narrating the manga.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm......Bob *drools* I'm not overly fond of black guys (bad experience in the Army) and its hard to find really HOT black guys. I was quite shocked when I saw Bob, especially for them animating a side main, hot black guy. Shocking yes! Plus those blue eyes of his *uhnnnnnn............* At least we get more fanservice of he and Chiaki fucking alot in the manga. ^_______________^
