I knew this was going to happen, just KNEW IT!

I got fucked over by the 1st place I PRE-ORDERED Wolf's Rain from, and now I'm getting fucked over by Animenation!

They STILL have yet to, I suppose, receive Gungrave into their warehouse. Its now two days PASSED its release date and STILL no word. On either the dvd or the OST.

What is the purpose of PRE-ORDERING something when they don't even get it in when they are supposed to. I mean hell, stores got it in THE DAY it came out yet these places can't get on the ball???

It took a week and 2 days late when I FINALLY got confirmation that Wolf's Rain came in. Will I have to wait the same length of time for Gungrave?

I really don't want to cancel my order cause I REALLY don't want to drive 25 miles to the nearest Best Buy, only to be told that they don't have the Gungrave boxset in. (and yes, Best Buy has been pissing me off too on keeping up with new releases or even having the title IN).

I guess for now on, I'm saying fuck the pre-order bullshit. I'll just buy it the day it comes out.

I'll usually order my DVDs from here or here... deepdiscount.com has free shipping and good prices, and bestprices.com's prices are pretty good... Animenation is too expensive, in my opinion...

anime nation SUCKS! my friend has shitlaods of problems with them. once she thought someone was trying to scam her via them, but it turned out it was someone on their staff using a different email to contatc her. one NOT ON the website. and they bitched her out for complaining x.x. glad to know its not just targeting her

amazon ususlay isn;t that bad, the only complaint with them was once when i ordered all my big o dvds, one had a much longer stock timethan the others and it held the order up. that was ttolay my idiocy though.

You could give us a shot if you so desire. As long as we have advance notice of what you want we can pre-order for you. We got Wolf's rain over 3 weeks ago and quickly sold out. Our supplier sometimes has a difficult time getting some limited items sent to him as the companies will often cut orders so if they order 300 units they get only 100 and the 200 come by later. So as long as we order more and more we have a better chance at getting them. So far we have not missed a pre-order. ^^

Yeah I wasn't going to go with Animenation cause of their prices but their pre-order price for the Gungrave boxset was decent. Plus at the time, the other place I order from (where I got WR from), didn't say if that GG box came with the mousepad or not, hence why I didn't order it from them.

I went and canceled AN's order, I'm just so pissed and frustrated, I'm tried of dealing with it.

I decided to go ahead and cancel my order from AN and went ahead and put my order in at a place that actually says Available. This is bullshit. In AN's recent email update of releases and news, GG was NOWHERE listed in the recent releases for July so I just said fuck it.

Though I still have my order through them for the OST, I'm not quite in a hurry to get that. But if I don't get a confirmation by the beginning of next week, I'm canceling that and going elsewhere for the OST.

I order from them from time to time. The only dvd I ordered through them was the Jem & The Holograms since their price was decent. I order drawing manga books or graphic novels from time to time but not too often.

I will definitely keep you in mind next time. I know as of now of what I'm trying to finish collecting is Witch Hunter Robin #5 and when #6 comes out next month. When I get more money, I also need to finish collecting Last Exile 3 on up. (though I'm not in a hurry to finish getting LE just yet)

Regarding dvds, right now, aside from those two titles above, the other two titles that will be on the top of my list is Gungrave and Wolf's Rain.


Since you are working on restocking your stuff, did you happen to get Sensual Phrase #2? Plus I'm also looking for Hellsing graphic novel #3. I have a bday coming up later this month and have to see how much money I get before I can order any dvds or books.

Sensual Pleasure 2 I think we still have and I know Hellsing 3 sold out at AX. Normally if we sell out I could tell you that we can get it 20 min or the next business day. Our supplier however got hammered due to AX and it will take some time for him to recover. I can let you know about Hellsing 3 on Monday. The way it looks... a lot of stuff is starting to come out >.<.
