I remember Pretty Boy Floyd, though I don't have their cassette...has it been converted/remastered to CD yet? I was digging through my closet (and I'm a horrible pack-rat as well!) and I found all my old Motley Crue and Judas Priest tapes from elementary and junior high! Wooooo. Good thing my stereo has a cassette-playing device on it.
I agree that a lot of these dudes instantly sexified themselves with hairspray, leather and spandex. Eeee-ugh, without it, most of them are ass-faces ( except for Nikki Sixx, I still think he's damn fine, lol). Look at Taime Downe ( former Faster Pussycat, now in the Newlydeads)...I think that age will do it too. He tries to wear "goth" make-up but still looks like a rotten, stale corpse.
What's this story all about? lol. I remember writing a story about suicide ( one of the topics to choose from) in Grade 10, which made the teacher cry ( which is a good feat...she was a harsh witchy hag, witchy in a non-cool way). I got 100%. Killllllah! I still have all my book reports/character profiles on serial killers that i did in school. And the teachers enjoyed them! That's so stupid how you got nailed for writing the dat e"incorrectly" Technically, you got a perfect score ^_~ Bring on the story!
