[Fanart] GW- 1xR "Eternal Promise" 2 of 2

jurty has left me speechless on the turn out of this pic. For those that don't know, the flowers above them are lillies of the valley, very nice smelling flowers that only last for about a month that bloom, I believe in early spring.
Wardove has made me some icons from the pic but I can't decide on what to use. If anyone who has the icon making skills and would like to make me something from this pic too, feel free to do so, I'd like to see the outcome of ideas. Though as of right now, I would like to have them for my own personal use. I haven't decided yet about opening it up for masses. Perhaps later depending on the turnout of what is made of icons and you ask me very nicely. ^_~

I think so too. I appreciate and envy artists who make the characters like the actual characters, if not more with their special touch. There are some artists whose work I adore and then there are some that make me cringe.

I agree about Rel's dress. I'm glad Jurty did it just the way I pictured it. I wanted it sleeveless, nothing too frilly or puffy like how some gowns are waaaaaaay over rated. This seems to suit Rel's character perfectly. And gives Heero more to oggle at his bride ^_~

That would be neat to see Spike and Julia, especially with Jurty's style. I'm pretty sure she's familiar with Bebop but it wouldn't hurt to send her a pic of Julia just in case.
BTW, doesn't Relena's dress seem a bit, ah...risque?
NAH! Are you kidding? ^_~ I think her dress suits her perfectly, plus it gives Heero more to the imagination of what is to come or just a tease to him of whats under that dress (even though I'm sure he's seen all of it fully *giggles*) Only makes him want to start that honeymoon ASAP.

I think everyone's already said everything that needs to be said, but I'll add my 2 cents anyhow -- That's a lovely pic! And I don't know who's idea it was, but the lily of the valley are a really nice touch.

Just to give you an early reminder/heads up, I'm not sure if you have seen Gungrave or not, but the next commission coming from Jurty that I had her do is a sweet moment with Brandon and Maria. She just sent me the sketch so hopefully by next week, I should have the finished product.
I'm glad you liked the pic, I was quite pleased with it regardless if they weren't kissing (one of the things I had thrown in there for an idea), but since she was having a hard time with the pose, I told her don't worry about it and settled for him to carry her.
As for the lillies, actually I told her to use them. I remember we use to have them growing by our house when I was still living at home and thought they were very pretty. I'm not a flower person when it comes to names or what kind are out there so I just threw some names out that I knew and sent her some pics just in case. I loved the way she incorporated them like that above their heads. Those bell shaped petals come in very handy and gives it that "wedding bells" like feeling.
Now if only the rest of the pilots have worn the OZ uniforms, it would've made for a great wedding series. Though I forgot all about 6x9 till my friend mentioned it to me in a comment, so hopefully, if she asks Jurty, she might commission one from her.

I agree about the Heero in uniform gooseflesh thing. Personally, that scene where he uses the White Fang ensemble to sneak into Relena's holding cell on Libra, and you just get a shot of his fist tightening when he sees her... *swoon*
Am I normal to swoon over these things? Luckily, I know you all are just as "normal" as I am! Yay! ^_^
Beck, you look beautiful in your wedding gown!!! ^_^ I love it that you did the crown of flowers. So romantic! So Renaissance! And that bouquet is just perfect! *sigh* I had fun at my wedding, and it really looks like you had fun at yours too. ^__^

Thanx for the comment on our wedding pics. That was probably the cheapest wedding ever! The gown I borrowed from my sis-in-law (and was lucky that it fit), the cake was homemade by hubby's aunt, the bridesmaids dresses were handmade by my s-i-l and her cousin, the crown of flowers for my head was my idea. My s-i-l had something similiar hanging in her bathroom and I thought it was pretty so I put it on my head and was like "hmmm....this would look neat instead of doing the veil." So my other s-i-l made my head piece. My bouquet was probably the best looking set of fake flowers I ever did see. I was so happy on how awesome they turned out. We had a pretty good time at our wedding, though the silly crazy shit went on afterwards *lol*.
