Thanksgiving wishes and Free Beer
My wishes to my family is that whatever high being is out there, to look out for them today and tomorrow. My family has had bad times the day after Thanksgiving.
In 2000, my aunt got into an car accident coming back from seeing her sister in Pittsburgh. IF she would've had her seat belt on, she would've sustained less injuries since what really did it in for her, was her head hitting the windshield. Two years later, she took a turn for the worse just out of the blue and they had to pull the plug.
In 2002, my brother-in-law (older sis's hubby), the day after the holiday, he wrecked his motorcycle. Bless the off duty paramedic who saw Brian's unconscious body and called in for help. If it weren't for that guy, Brian would no longer be with us. Brian was in a coma for at least a month. On top of that to make matters worse for my sis, she JUST had a new baby (Dylan) the month before, so just imagine the hell she was going through.
Since it seems right now, its been skipping every two years, this yr is time for something to happen and I really hope its just a flux.

On a more uplifting note, we got free beer this morning from the neighbor across the street. And how funny.........its BECK's beer *lol*. I never had it before so I hope he didn't waste his money for nothing. Even though he said that they had a good price going, $6 for a 12pack. Can't complain about free beer though. ^_~
AHHHHHH!!!!!!! I'm anxious as hell for the latest Naruto manga chapter. Seeing the raw and someone's translations is freaking me out!!!!!!

Yeah, you can't complain about getting free booze. I know that for the X-mas season, hubby gets alot of good things from the contractors that Greyhound uses for their services. We get free booze (here lately its been Crown Royal another yr was Jack Daniels), a box of assorted candy and fruit, calendars, meat from Omaha Steaks (though for as long as they've been doing it, its been the same package every yr, though ya can't complain about that either, shit ain't cheap) and I'm sure a few other things.
Thanx for the prayer. I talked to mom on Sunday and asked her if everyone was okay the day after Thanksgiving, so far so good.
