I'll start with the misc stuff.

Yesterday bubba and I finally got around to putting the lights on the tree as well as a few other misc X-mas stuff that I usually let him do. I have soooooooo much X-mas decorations and so very little space to put everything up. Not only that, but I sit and look at everything, wondering why I even bother. No one sees it but us and its only more crap that I have to worry about taking down after the holiday. Which is why I'm wondering if I should even put ornaments on the tree, it looks fine with just the lights and tinsel. I'm surprised mom still puts up her X-mas stuff but I think she only does it for my nephews, if it weren't for them, I don't think she would bother.
I also collect these Budweiser Holiday Steins and don't even know why I do that for either anymore. I know back when I was living at home, I started doing it cause I really liked the one stein they had in '95. I'm only hoping that mom didn't get me this yr's stein. I don't even know where to put them. I should look into selling those in the future somewhere. I mean they are really pretty steins and the scenes are nice, I just don't have the room and I'm a pack rat as it is.
I forgot to mention it earlier about what the cat did, Smokey for that matter. Thanksgiving morning, I noticed a spot in the dining area that looked like watery puke with a sliver of a familiar green piece in it. Bubba saw it too and we came to the conclusion that Smokey must've been chewing on the fake X-mas tree since the green piece was one of the needles. I know it couldn't have been Sam cause Sam is already familiar with the tree. All this X-mas stuff is new to Smokey so its not going to come as a surprise if we see more puke later that proves he might have been eating the tinsel that is in his reach. Its funny to see both cats either laying under the tree or laying beside the train track that goes around the tree.
I knew it was too good to be true regarding that Last Exile dvd set that was on Amazon for $24-27. I should've put my order in this past weekend instead of waiting. I just wonder if Amazon will honor the cheap price that was on the site before they changed, to those that placed their order in at the time. Fucking sucks too, that was a great deal and I need to finish collecting the series, I only have dvd 1&2. But it made it easier on me cause I had a hard time deciding if I wanted Last Exile set or Outlaw Star as previously planned. So it looks like OLS is the winner.
We're supposed to be getting another cold front today. I don't overly care for the cold (though I hate the heat here more than anything), it needs to STAY COLD! Shit, its almost winter and we're still not getting the winter degrees. I'm just sick and tired of the rain and all this damn wind!!! We haven't bothered cleaning the pool lately cause its been so windy or rainy that it just fills up more with leaves. Plus the leaves behind the house and the back patio need picked up but can't do that either till the weather is calm again.

Now in regards to my dental check up.
Bubba finally got us appointments last week. Lucky him, he only needs a filling. Whereas me............I never thought I'd ever have to have this done but I have to get 2 root canals and 2 crowns. And funny thing is, this has nothing to do about how well you take care of your teeth.
The spot I'm getting worked on first happened cause of when I had my upper wisdom teeth out. The far back right tooth was weakened cause of that. Plus early last yr, I broke part of that tooth off just by eating a frito chip. The dentist then put a filler around it but he did tell me that I will no doubt need a crown later. I'm not sure what either the x-ray showed or what she saw when checking my teeth out regarding it but she banged on it and then put something on a q-tip that was cold and asked if I can feel it or if it hurts, which it did.
The other area I need worked on later is one of my back bottom left tooth which if I look in a mirror, you can see this little hole where the silver filling shows through. That tooth is shot from what she told me just cause of how things look to her.
I agree with bubba, aside from me costing us too much damn money, that I should just have all my teeth knocked out, less I have to worry about. *lol* Though I sure as fuck wouldn't want to go through that pain.
So I got a cleaning the morning I went to my appt. My gums hurt for 2 days, christ could you dig into my gums a bit deeper and have me bleeding every where?
At least with bubba's insurance, we were allowed one free checkup and x-rays so that was nothing from our pocket. But for his filling he needs (both of these prices are after insurance takes off) that will be $75 and what I need done................... $804 -____- We're lucky though that they have a dental credit plan where you have up to 12 months to pay it off before they add the interest onto it. Thank god we don't have to pay all of that up front.
I have my torture appt. Dec.14, then I have my ear check up on Dec.21 *sighs*
Even though I have my root canal and crown stuff done early that morning (starting at 8am), anyone on my flist who has had a root canal done, I'm wondering about the pain and if it would be worth me taking that night off work? She said that it'd take about an hr or so and I don't have to be into work till 11 that night. So would that amount of time be enough for my pain to ease up?
