I took a break from writing last night and decided to draw something *gaspu!*

I saved some screencaps I made from one of the dvds and picked which ones I would like to take a stab at drawing, since I have a fear of either drawing full bodies, half bodies, small heads, hands, etc that doesn't require to draw big ass profile pics that I normally draw. I must say that what I had drawn isn't too bad. Though of course it seems like something is off regarding the face or the way the head is. I'm afraid to try and fix in cause it might throw the rest of the pic off regarding the body. I'm going to try my damnedest to take the pic with my camera and post it, hopefully it will turn out okay. When I do, would any of the artists on my flist like to kinda fix whatever I feel is wrong with Harry's head/face? Meaning you can put red marks on the pic and show me.
Something I noticed when I draw is that I happen to have a slant, I can't seem to draw completely straight. Perhaps I should tilt my paper a bit when I do draw. The thing that sucked about the original pic of Harry was that it looks like he was kinda looking down whereas my drawing makes it look like he's looking up *sighs* Again, it could just be how I placed his eyes, or perhaps, it might look a bit better once I finish drawing his hair. Its also amazing how much better a penciled pic looks when you shade in certain areas. (another peeve of mine is shading, especially if I have to make up the light source on my own, had that problem in HS art).
I was going to try and draw the old fart who was standing next to Harry but that dude just has too much on him to even bother with though I do have room on my paper.
The next two things I'd like to try is this FMA Ed and Al pic and another GG cap of Bunji smoking when he and Brandon were sitting in the car waiting for Blood War to make his move. We'll see how long my drawing streak will last first.

I knew something felt wrong last night and just couldn't put my finger on it. When I got to work, I realized that last night was a new eps of LOST. I FUCKING MISSED IT!!!!!!!!!!!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got so use to them showing the re-runs that I forgot a new one was airing. Plus since I wasn't on my compy last night, I didn't have a reminder around me (I have a note taped to my monitor). Along with the fact that I'm losing track of days, I didn't even realize it was Wed. *headdesk* So now, I'm going to post a note on the fridge and my bookshelf. Its pretty sad that I have to do this.

I don't know if I should be happy or annoyed at the cold front that hit us. For nearly a week or two, its been in the 70's though it was mostly dreary or wet. But it should be cold damn it! Its freakin Jan, not April!!!!! And it sounds like by the weekend, its supposed to get up in the high 60's-70's again >________< In some ways, as long as it isn't freakishly cold or wet this coming weekend, will be good since we have to work on taking down the outside X-mas lights.
