I'm so giddy! On the way to work tonight, I FINALLY got to see a REAL LIVE armadillo! He was on the side of the back road just snoodling around minding his own business. Now to see if he's not some pancake on the road when I go by in the morning. The only time I ever see armadillos here are dead ones. Speaking of tonight, the side roads and even the highway (that is before I hit the dallas city limits) were pretty scarce tonight and thats a good thing for me, I hate traffic with a passion.
The weather for the past two days have been very pleasantly cool and got a few sprinkles from that storm front that was going by. I just hope we don't drive into any of it on the way to PA come Wed.
In case some of you peeps haven't seen but they now have LOTR dolls at Walmart. Not some chintzy looking things either, they look pretty nice and a nice size to them. They even got the ugly creatures too. No Legolas though. The shelves were stocked with the dolls but I searched behind the lot of them and saw no Leg's. I looked on the back of the other charcter box to see what he looks like and Legs looks pretty nice, I'm sure that he will be the doll that will constantly go out of stock. They even have a set with a wounded Frodo on the horse that is with Arwen (she's included too) Course the dolls take after the actors and actresses that play them on the movie so I think the Arwen doll is ugly, then again I think Liv Tyler is ugly too. Wanna rip her and her father's lips off or better yet, get a damn lip reduction. There is a thing called a bit too much. If she had a lip reduction, I think she would be a decent looking girl.
I'm also happy to see that Lilias posted two new fics "Beyond the Limit of the world" which is part of her Complicated series. FINALLY and hoping this one focuses on the 1xR part of the relationship. The other fic is "An Expert in the Field" which is a very cute 2xH fic.
But on another happy note for fics is seeing something new from Stephanie. I always enjoy her fics when she posts something. (still gets teary eyed over her long ass 1x3 fic)
I know some may not care but they are FINALLY showing new DBZ again. But what sucks is that they ALWAYS bring the new stuff on right before we go on vacation so now I'll be missing at least 2 days worth on the trip to PA and if things go right with their schedule, I won't have to worry about missing any on the way back to TX. I wanted to cry when I saw the previews for it today and they showed a clip of Bulma crying out when she was given news about Vegeta sacraficing himself to Buu. I wanted to cry too, hell I think I cried on all the times Vegeta died (twice to be exact)
Hubby wants to get Disturbed's new cd tomorrow so if he gets that, I want to get one of Social Distortions cds since I'm now hooked on them.
Must go find something productive to do so I quit thinking about stupid shit.
