After seeing the J. Geils Band video for "Freeze Frame" had me wanting to see this idea done for basically whatever character passes ones fancy.

The band members were throwing paint around and of course they were in those white painter bibbed overalls and white caps.

So the art request would be, any sexy character in said white painter overalls, white cap, and splatters of paint on their clothes and perhaps smeared on their skin. There can be an extra character added in there if one wants.

Just had to get that out of my brain before it bugged the hell out of me.

That's a cute fanart idea!! I think that would fit Onizuka quite nicely! But boy to have the idea be inspired by one of my least favorite songs. *lol* Probably because it's on damn near every 80's music compilation I own.

He was the first one on my mind *giggles*

Oh, I can imagine that song being on nearly every 80's compilation out there.

Conscience: No "but"s! Get back to work!

God, I love your ideas...

Naruto 245...Sakura is so cute now! Just wish he let her hair grow back. Naruto is just taller...same head. Haahaahaa!

Funny when you posted this comment, I just got done reading it myself. I was pretty shocked when I saw the raws but to know what all is said now and what not. Yeah I was surprised that he kept Sakura's hair short.

See, these are the reasons why I would LOVE to be an artist. I have so many ideas running rampant in my head that isn't fic writing material, mostly art stuff and I can't do anything about it *WAAAAIII!!!*

Thank you ^_~ I was told I have a vivid imagination when it comes to stuff like this.

Based on those drawings you showed us before though, you do have potential ^^
You should call all the artists on your friends' list over to get some private lessons to brush you up.

I think I could have more potential if I stuck to keeping at it. But I lose interest pretty quick though that also hits me when I'm writing too.

I ask questions from time to time. But I'm sure its kinda hard to show someone on starting out when your so use to being good at what you do to begin with. Thats why I'm surprised art teachers can do the job they do w/out being frustrated on trying to teach a class on what you are trying to draw.

One thing I did have a knack for was drawing trees. Mostly bare trees, I don't think I ever explored trees with leaves. I saw my sketchbooks awhile back, I just have to go through my boxes to see where they are and scan in the pics I had to do back in high school and the side pics I would draw when I got inspired. At the time I was into Native American art so I did a drawing or two. Hopefully the pics will turn out since they are in pencil and I'm taking it with a digital camera.

I think I had more motivation when I was in art class than if I were on my own such as now. Just having someone show me how to start things off and help me with my work in certain areas would fuel me to continue on. Art skills and website making skills I yearn to have knowledge for.

Teaching art is indeed quite difficult to do without being obstrusive (I've tutored drawing before - it was hard!) but it's enlightening at the same time. It's very useful for "bringing back the basics" so to speak which we all tend to forget after a while. I'm sure it's the same for writing. (I wouldn't know. I apparently break every rule in Strunk & White.)

Hey, trees aren't exactly the easiest things to draw. You definitely have potential! Don't give up! Classes are a good idea, but I bet availability of time is an issue. It certainly is for me. I've been trying to squeeze life drawing classes into my schedule for over a year now.

Re: website making skills, this actually isn't that difficult to get started on provided you can find some time to dedicate yourself to it. (Of course, there's that issue of time again!) One of those "Learn (x)HTML in 24 hours" books are a pretty good place to start. That's where I started anyhow ^^;

I would offer to be of more help if I didn't live so far...
