I waited quite a while for yesterday to finally arrive and bought the movie since I've been dying to see it.

My reaction, is well, its a very strange movie. In fact, I heard it being compared to Seven actually a bit scarier than Seven but I think in some cases the icky scenes they were about the same. Some parts I was actually screaming out "EWWWWWWW!!!! EEEEEEE!!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!! AAAAUGGGH! *shudders and tries to look away from the tv*"

The whole story fucks with your head till you get near the end and you're like "WTF! MAN!!!??"

Course with Cary Elwes in it, I was like "poor Westley *lol*". I was gonna ask as to where he's from since he talks with a slight accent but I see that he was from England. And I always thought he was a decent actor.

If anyone wants to know certain parts that go on in the movie if they don't want to watch it and well of course don't mind spoilers since your asking, let me know and I'll probably have to email you about it.

Paging Hello Nurse! I got your cd in the mail on Monday and I think it freaked out bubba when he's like "Why is your name Dr. Beck and who is Hello Nurse?" I pondered on that a bit and the first thing I asked was "Is it from Maryland?" Once he confirmed it, I knew it was you. I look forward to listening to it when I get the chance, thanx [livejournal.com profile] fangirlsdelight.

If I have to see one more god damn post on [livejournal.com profile] chuunin about the whole license deal, I'm going to go FUCKING APESHIT!!! One of the many reasons why I wished I could strangle ppl through my monitor or give them a thorough beating. Makes me wonder how quick that place was put on fandom wank.

Again, one of the many reasons I either adore obscure fandoms or titles that are already released, less bullshit I have to put up with. Also another reason why I can't stand big communities, I'm about ready to drop chuunin till all this blows over. I also feel as if in regards to big communities, the so called Mods need to learn how to run things in a particular order such when instances as licensing, etc comes up, they need to learn when to put their foot down on saying ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I hate big comm's that are run poorly. If you aren't going to keep track of something you created, then I think the torch needs to be passed on to someone else.

Dan and I saw Saw (hehehe) in the movie theater. I liked it very much as a psychological thriller, but... I'm a fan of Cary Elwes and he was not right for this film, I don't think. I've read a few reviews where it's been said that he 'over-acted', and I think I have to agree with that, as much as I love him. That said, yeah... it was interesting, huh? *grin* The questions asked in the film are just so... *shudders* How far would we really go in a situation like that? The movie itself has actually gotten pretty good reviews for it's genre.

Is the DVD an extended version or anything? Do they show anything that wasn't in the theatrical release, do you have any idea?

I saw Saw (gotta love that phrasing) and I liked it and it's ending and all that. Of course, the acting was a little sub-par sometimes, but bearable. Is it worth it to get the DVD? Later.

Saw is on DVD now?! I can finally see it.

Course with Cary Elwes in it, I was like "poor Westley *lol*".

*ROFL* Cary Elwes is so cool. In a lot of reviews for this movie they said he overacted quite a bit. But I'll love him anyway.

Ugh! It was like one post after another, which makes you sit there scratching you head and saying "don't you fucking READ what is posted??!!!" Then they want to whine and cry because ppl are picking on them cause "oh I didn't know that there was a post about it." WTFever!

Another main reason why I'm glad that half the anime I'm into has already been out for a good bit. I don't think I could handle this kind of bullshit if it were a series I totally loved. In fact, it would probably make me turn against it. (though I feel bad, I haven't watched any Naruto since #109 and its now up to #122)

Yeah it did seem weird to have Cary in this film. When I first saw previews, they were kinda showing it fast and I was like "is that him or not." And I really didn't get the chance to read any reviews for the movie but I have to agree too on the over acting. Maybe its just that I'm not quite so use to him being in a serious role though he was in Glory.

The questions asked in the film are just so... *shudders* How far would we really go in a situation like that?

Oh god, ain't that the truth. I never thought that he would've gone THAT far just to get free. Do you think he made it out or no? Hubby and I think no. I'm still wondering why that patient set all that up for, what was his deal, fucking nut case.

Ummm...the dvd case apparently doesn't say anything that if it had any extra stuff that they didn't have in the movie. So I would say that it didn't.

I saw Saw (gotta love that phrasing)

Totally! I know it felt weird making an entry about it when the movie came to theaters and I was like "I wanna see Saw." *lol*

Yeah the acting was a bit off at times and it felt weird just seeing certain actors in this movie. Though the part in the movie that pissed me off was how the daughter TOLD her father that someone was in her closet but apparently he didn't take the time to fucking look!

Is it worth it to get the DVD?

Hmmm....I guess it all depends on if you liked the movie enough to buy it. This was the first time for me to see it and we haven't rented movies in a long time so I thought why not buy it since I heard it was supposed to be pretty icky. And the dvd case didn't say if there was anything special added on to it so there were no special stuff going on.

Thats funny seeing ppl say that about his acting. I didn't get the chance to read any reviews on it but now that I think about it, he in some ways, didn't seem right for the role. I guess I'm not use to seeing him in something so serious. But either way, I too still like him regardless of the bad acting.
