Interview meme and Gungrave Overdose update

For the interview meme, I'm not going by what the meme says. Just drop me a question or so and I'll try my best at answering them. (just don't make them overly hard or stupid).

This has absolutely nothing to do with anything other than the fact that I love it that you were listening to Silverchair when you wrote this. Not enough people give them credit for how exceptionally talented those boys were for their age, and for what an amazing musician Daniel Johns has turned out to be. Have you heard the most recent stuff, or Daniel's side project? It's amazing. Anyway, yay, you! :)

Oh, I've been wanting to ask you this for awhile! Do you have a (or a couple of) favorite anime? Ones that you've watched over and over and always think it's absolutely fantastic? If you were told you were going to be stranded on an island and could only have a limited amount of anime, what one's would you bring?

I guess what I'm asking is; what is your classic anime?

(It's a bit too early for me, so I hope that was coherent, and not a stupid question..)

I totally agree. Just ashamed that they were only known for Frogstomp yet didn't get squat for recognition for their other albums.

My friend in Australia was telling me awhile back about Daniel's side project and was going to send me some music from it. I saw a pic of him recently and had NO F'ING CLUE that it was him O_____O, its like "what happened to you?"

But yeah, I can never go wrong on picking out Silverchair to listen too. Not just certain albums but the whole thing of when I got into them brings back good memories that yr in '95.

I have The Dissociatives on my computer if you want it. It's amazing. It's very reminiscent of some Silverchair mixed with Beatles and some other really inventive things. Actually... I have everything they've put out, other than a couple of B-side songs, so if you want something, let me know. There's Freak Show, Neon Ballroom, and Diorama, the most recent and truly amazing release. I got to see them for that tour (Hah! Tour? 4 shows in the US, because Daniel was just recouperating from his illnesses), and man, it was worth every inflated penny that I wound up paying to buy those tickets on ebay. $17.50 each tickets that cost me $140 for a pair, and I'd do it again if I had the chance, they were so awesome!

I think my problem with Diorama, is that since I wasn't too happy about it when I listened to it like 2 times, I really need to go back and take the time to listen to it more. I'm sure it will grow on me.

They were so fucking awesome in concert!!! I'm so proud to be one of the rare ones to say that I saw them perform. Its sad though that they really didn't tour all that much in the US ever since they formed SC. I saw them during Neon Ballroom, neat stage setup and just totally blew me away. WOW!! I didn't realize you paid that much for those tixs. I guess I'd be the same way if it were for a band I was DYING to see.

Could you burn me The Dis on cd? They sound like they are pretty awesome with the style of their sound. I'd love to have all of their stuff that you have. (just don't worry about the SC cds, I got those).

Yeah, I can do that. Although if you didn't like Diorama, you might not like it, but my suggestion? I "specifically" remember it taking three times through before that CD "struck" me, lol, if that's likely to mean anything, and I went on to decide it was one of the two best CDs I'd heard that year, lol. Definitely takes a bit of adjustment to get used to, but I absolutely love it now.
