The way I keep going, its going to make me cry. I'm taking my time on playing it and getting a feel to what I'm doing. So yesterday, I FINALLY defeated Phantom in the 1st round. Is it me or does he seem to stay in his Scorpion mode more than the Spider?? So DUMMY me, didn't save that level I just finished. *head-keyboard smash* Now I have to go back to the Cathedral and do it all over again and I figure it was pure luck on defeating Phantom when I did.

Though I did keep going after I killed Phantom and now faced off with Nelo Angelo. Christ on a pogo stick!! Talk about a bitch to take down, especially since he's just as powerful if not more powerful than you. And that is using the Alastor with the Stinger move.

The only thing right now that I don't care for is at the end when you die. It doesn't give you options if you want to quit. So if I keep using my yellow orbs, will I have to buy more or do they build up automatically??

I guess I was use to what Gungrave offered, either to try again or quit.

This isn't the last of the griping, be prepared for more as time goes by.

If it makes you feel any better, Cerberus (the boss of the third mission) is totally emasculating my inner gamer in DMC3. I mean, seriously.

And he's chained to the wall, so I have no excuse now for my sucking at this game. T___T

Also, word to the wise. If you're trying to play the whole series, skip number 2. It's not worth the time/money. Especially with DMC3 looming on the horizon.

Yeah, I heard about Cerberus and saw a screencap of it. Holy Shit! Though how much damage can they inflict upon you even if they are chained?

A friend of mine is letting me borrow her games so once I'm done with the 1st, she'll be sending me the 2nd. I haven't bought any of these games yet but at least by doing this will determine if I will be buying them. What was so bad about #2 that many fans didn't like? (I forget what was said about it)

A girl with guts and honor...

Awwww, don't tell me that!!!!! Stuff like that has happened to me too, when I thought I already saved a game. But at least you beat him once. That means you can beat him again!! Pop him a couple times in the mouth when he tries to spit out those fireballs!

You know what, you can quit the game but you have to do it by pressing start and then choosing 'reset game'. Unfortunately, you have to buy or find yellow orbs. So if you're sure you don't want to continue a game quit immediately after you used the yellow orb. That way you'll still have the orb when you feel like playing again.

That's cool that you saw Nelo Angelo! He had a cool introduction and Dante's reaction cracked me up! But yes this game will make you want to throw your controller but still want to conquer it!!

DMC3 is just making go into the fetal position and cry! I finally beat the doggie but damn!

But I believe in you! You can do it!

I never beat the first one. A certain boss reallllllllllly pissed me off and I could never get his health down.

A lot of people hate the second one mostly due to comparing it to the first one, I think. It's not supposed to be nearly as good, but I don't know, I haven't played it.

Woo! Nelo Angelo is the awesome.

Um, enough that it only takes five or so hits and I'm down. >__>

I'm thinking about buying some Blue Orbs next to get my max health up. Supposedly, all I have to do is aim for his feet, but that seems... too easy. Especially in this game.

Re: A girl with guts and honor...

I noticed that if I get too close to him, he tries to snap his claw at me since he likes to stay in that scorpion mode. I think I got alot of the damage on him when I could stay on his back long enough. Things happen so fast that I just start pushing any buttons to get some hits in, I have a hard time thinking when put on the spot.

Thanx for the heads up on the saving bit. I might just restart the game again and get my yellow orbs back (I think I only have 2 left) and THEN get a handle of SAVING the game like I should.

YES! Nelo's intro was great, got a few giggles out of Dante. Any move or special things I should acquire before I meet Nelo again? How about the Air Hike?

YAY for you on taking down the doggie.

I was checking to see what kind of amvids are out there for DMC and I see that Dante has this BIG ASS blade sword, which game does he pick that up in? (I think I saw Trish wield it too)

But I believe in you! You can do it!

Awww....*sniffles* Thanx for the burst of confidence, I'll try my best.

Oh yeah? What boss and how far did you get? I'm just hoping that it doesn't frustrate me too much that I'll end up giving up on it. Though I can't give up cause its not my game.

Nelo is a pretty neat character though a pain in my ass for what little time I got to fight him.

Like the next to last boss. Supposedly the last boss is even harder 0_0 Not good. You could always try to unlock the Dante Must Die Difficulty haha.

HA...HA...HA!

Though I would like to watch someone play in that mode.
