They were at the Excel Center in the Cities last month...and man oh MAN do I EVER wish I could've afforded to go! ;_; If you go, you'll have to tell me how it was!

I wish you luck on being able to attend it. From what I saw on Ticketmaster, the ones in Dallas are ranging from $35-$45. I about peed myself when I saw that the tour was actually going to happen this yr and not have to wait till next yr. If we were able to afford it, I told hubby awhile back that I would even go as far as Houston to see them again if we could do it twice.

I feel your pain about not being able to afford it. I saw them for the firt time in '00 and I was just so blown away. This will be even more kickass considering that the new album is awesome, it'd be better live. I'm kinda hoping if we can manage to get tixs, that we can somehow sneak our digital camera in and have hubby take some vids and pics.

Hey girl, long time no read...it's Juri. ^_^ I am so mad NIN is coming to you. I thought QOTSA broke up though...and I thought the Dresden Dolls were opening NIN's acts...well poop on Trent for screwing me up. ^_^

But why is it that advance ticket sales and minorly good stuff go to fan club members? I think lately that Trent has become a bit of a money-grubber, or at least is acting like one. The statement about bootlegs is understandable in the wake of the song leak fiasco on With Teeth, but I think he overreacts sometimes. I should know, I do that too. All that damn time.

If he has become a money-grubbing asshole (the sign of a true "rock star", a person who is secure in his or her own standing among us peoples) then he can go fuck himself. As George Carlin said once about Mickey Mouse, "Fuck him in the ass with a big rubber dick! And then break it off and beat him with it!"

I saw that and went WTF!? In fact, if it wasn't for that update in my email about "club members getting tix earlier", I wouldn't have known that they updated the tour dates.

I don't think I came across what he said regarding the bootlegs. Since I don't check out mags or even things much online, I wouldn't know about it if someone doesn't bring it to my attention. BUT I will say this, if he is being a money grubber, the concert tixs could be alot more pricey than what they are now. I looked at the prices for the Dallas show and the only two prices they are charging are $35 & $45. Thats not bad considering where they are performing at.
