Otakon: Scott McNeil gets POWNED and FMA oddness

This cracked me up, and by a female Darth Vader at that. Poor Scott *lol*

Check it out my AnimeFest posse! We got HAIR to play with next month hehehehehe. His hair is a bit longer than what it was at Akon last yr. GUH! I seem to have an arm fetish and I just want to nibble on those sexy arms of his. Scott doesn't realize the perverted pose that he's in. *snerks*

What doesn't make sense, isn't Arakawa a woman and not a man?? Or have I been deceived this whole time?

I'm just glad that the manga has different plans than what the anime did.

Just a few cosplayers:

Scroll down and check out the geeky Aizen (Bleach) who's glasses seem to be just right and farther down, a really good cosplay of Howl's Moving Castle.

Arakawa-sensei is a woman. Japanese language doesn't use genres that much, so it's normal that they mistranslated. Besides, since FMA is a shounen and there are no pictures of her, people usually asume she's a man xP

Spoiling the manga with the anime would be a bad idea, so we tried to stay as far away from that as possible. <-- boy, that's good to know xP

Interesting on how they handle that. I was wondering why we never got the chance to see her.

Regarding the anime/manga, I was so relieved on that. I know I'm asking for too much but I just want a pretty decent ending to the manga.

Its good to see his haird that way again, though I just wish he wouldn't cover it with the hat now (unless he's got something to hide *snerks*)

If I'm reading the article right, the person in the photos is the director for the movie.

Here is what had me going "wuh?"

"Since there wasn't any manga to work off of, we spoke to the manga artist and gave him several ideas of what way the story could do," Mizushima told fans at an Otakon panel. "We also heard from Mr. Arakawa on how he was planning to do the manga form the midpoint of the story.

The manga artist would be the creator correct? (I know some mangaka's have help but I would think SHE would be the main person to approach). Then they go on to say Mr. Arakawa which is the creator's name. Thats why I was like, well is Arakawa a he or a she? (the part I have in bold was the main part that caught my eye)

I always thought it was a woman. Every other place I've read about the manga-ka for FMA, it's been said that she's female.
