Rip my heart out why don't you.

*sighs* Knowing what all was being said now and knowing why the characters behaved the way they did *sighs*

I just wonder how Kaname's behavior would've been IF Sousuke had actually shown up to school that day. Seeing her all happy about the moment they had with the haircutting and stuff, only to have her moment crushed *sighs* Though it did make me laugh when those that know Kaname noticed that she was awfully cheery:

"Did something happen?"

"I don't know."

During the raw when Sousuke took the first box out and right before the elevator door opened, I kept hoping that maybe Kaname would've showed up to double check on him but sadly *sighs*

So not only was Kaname crushed but poor Sousuke being pretty much told that he was/is a failure when it came to protecting her. *goes to strangle the dude on the phone* That whole paranoia, creepy feeling Kaname was getting, its amazing how you come to realize that a person has become special/important to you when some bad shit is going down and you really need them to be there. *huggles both*

The preview for 8 had me smirking when Sousuke says: My sword points at the machine responsible for separating her from me.

Though if I read it right, we won't see the raw for 8 till the 14th of Sept!! *wibbles* DAMN!DAMN!DAMN!! I'll be in PA for two weeks during that time and all I will have around me is dial up. *SIGHS*

Regarding the novels, I read bits and pieces awhile back but as much as I want to go and read everything now, for some reason, I think I'm going to wait till TSR is over. I don't mind being spoiled, I've done it for the majority of the anime I've been watching that already has a manga for it. I guess this series just feels special *shrugs* But knowing me, I'll go against my word and end up reading it anyways.

EEEP! Check out the FMA movie cards that was posted here. If you don't want spoilers from the movie, don't click the link. I want a bigger pic of Alter!Hughes hitting on Alter!Gracia *giggles* If you scroll down to the comments, there is another big ass pics of other cards. Awww...."grandpa" Armstrong *lol*, depressed Roy *snugs*, Armor Al and Ed hug, Winry and Ed hug. I'd like to have seen more of movie Havoc pics (of what little screen time I'm sure he had) since I thought he was looking pretty hot in that weird helmet.

~*~*~

Am keeping myself somewhat content on catching up with some anime:

Raw 18 of Speed Grapher *done*
sub of FMP! 7 *done*
Erementar Gerad #17
and I guess if the mood strikes I'll try and force myself to watch Trinity Blood 14 & 15, that is if I actually don't want to fall asleep, I might not. I don't know why I watch it, I guess its one of those train wreck series. *sighs*

If that doesn't happen, I should immerse my brain into some smut ficcage though. *nodsnods*

Boring and pointless entry brought to you by the letter S.

*sighs* Another 7 hrs to go before I can go home.

Thanks for linking the FMA movie cards.

And, after all of the negative reviewing I've seen on my FL for Trinity Blood, it's safe for me to say that I'm gonna skip that one completely. I have a friend giving me Last Exile at the moment and it's next on my list to watch.

The thing that sucks about viewing certain things at work is that I could only see the first set with Hughes and Gracia and the one that was posted in the comments. I have to wait till I get home in order to see what the others were.

Regarding the EdWin pic, just has me thinking back now on the Red Book and anything recently from the manga too. I came up with my own silly idea I should write down that could take place after the Red Book cause, knowing me, it was bound to happen. *lol*

I'm actually a bit disappointed in TB. I don't know what I was expecting anyways but I was kinda turned on by the idea in the 1st eps, but then as it went along, I was like "this is boring." Some characters keep my attention but thats about as far as it goes. There's only so much a series can do when it comes to "just watching it for the bish." Just give me a damn storyline first and THEN worry about the eyecandy later. Its one of those series that I noticed with some fans that I bet if you asked them if they had a clue what was going on, they'd tell you "no, I'm just watching it for the bish." *rollseyes* I'm not saying that its a totally pathetic attitude to have but when it comes to series like that, thats all I seem to hear. Maybe I'm just weird to wanting to enjoy the true meaning behind it for a change. Or maybe I'm just getting old and cranky *laughs*

LE is a pretty good series but weird. The dub isn't bad though Lavi's voice does kinda get on my nerves from time to time. The music is really good (always LOVE the OP song) same goes with the animation.

Another series I think you'd like is Erementar Gerad. Coud, the main boy is just so cute when he gets flustered and blushes whenever it comes to Ren. Keia and Rowan would make an adorable couple too. I'd like to see more of the manga cause thats just as cute. They only released the 1st chapter for translation. Here are some images. Let me know if you'd like to try it out and I can send you whatever I can on 2 discs. (I'll see if you like it enough to want to see more and then I'll hook you up with the rest).

There is another series I'm totally fangirling over but I haven't mentioned it much on LJ. I want to send you copies of that one too but I'm waiting for the subbing group to freaking catch up to where the raws are and THEN I'll send it (maybe if they even go halfway on catching up). There are 13 subbed and by next week, the raw for 22 will be out and its only a 26 eps series. I won't tell you what it is till later. :P

Anything else that may be new that you'd like to see what it was like?

Actually, it's a pity 'cause the novels and the Manga are quite good, IMO. The problem as well is the author sorta died and he didn't finish the story. Episode 6 was the most pointless thing ever. I HATE HUGHE. Hate him. Why not a nice little, Ax past and put the Angst Brood Swordman on episode 5. *seethes* Like Caterina and Abel meeting Havel, Kate and William and then Tres.

From: [identity profile] yankeerose69.livejournal.com

See, thats the thing. It sounds like they wanted the anime to go on its own path and not really want the manga or novels had intended. Plus I think that if the novels and manga were actually available like how most stuff is here lately (half or nearly fully translated that is and I know I'm asking for too much *greedy*), I would probably be a fan of it. Though I actually still watch it but I just can't get into it.

Episode 6 was the most pointless thing ever. I HATE HUGHE.

So does he like, even have much of a part in the manga and novels? Or was he there just for the eye candy bit for the anime?

Like Caterina and Abel meeting Havel, Kate and William and then Tres.

I could go for that.

From: [identity profile] sir-hellsing.livejournal.com

Hughue is pointless angst fest eye candy, IMO. But he's not important and has a lesser role in the novels, his stories are boring and only serves as a foil to Tres because his loyalty to Caterina is flicker and Tres.Does.Not.Like.That.

I think he kicked him around. I would SO watch that.

*cheers for Tres*

The Anime is faithful to some parts but the problem is that they are meshing storylines. We have Esther meeting Havel and Noelle who died years before she got into the Ax. The fact some seem 'plotless' is because they are short stories on the novel (of the series RAM), the episodes 09-10 are one of the most plotted because of the arc. Then then ROM does follow a linear plot, Esther's ascension to Queenship and maturity, which is happening. I bet it will end with her crowning and Abel's death. And maybe the enemies will be left unresolved because... they are unresolved until someone continues the novels.

I warmed up to the Manga when I saw this. Man, they can make Esther uglier and more annoying and have her rape Abel if the mangaka wants as long I get my Caterina x Tres doses. XD

My English sucks 'cause is early.

Anyway, I am watching the Anime to get into more future Alessandro/Esther scenes when they are in Albion. With Cain as their tourist guide in incognito.

Thanks for posting the FMA movie cards!

I really can't wait to see that. Speaking of which: Beck, oh mistress of all knowledge -- do you happen to know when it's supposed to be released?

LE is a pretty good series but weird. The dub isn't bad though Lavi's voice does kinda get on my nerves from time to time. The music is really good (always LOVE the OP song) same goes with the animation.

I've been looking at LE for ages, and finally have a chance to check it out, for free, because God, I don't want to end up with discs of store-bought anime I hate, i.e. Wolf's Rain. If you know anyone who's up for the first two volumes of WR, send'em my way. I'm looking to unload those bastards.
Let me know if you'd like to try it out and I can send you whatever I can on 2 discs. (I'll see if you like it enough to want to see more and then I'll hook you up with the rest).

I visited a few sites with info on it. Not entire sure it'd be my thing, but it's caught my attention enough to give it a shot. I'm usually up for giving anything a try. Even that Victorian Romance Emma anime, despite the fact I knew beforehand, by the "Jane Austen-esque" description of the storyline, I was going to fucking hate it. Which I DID. I hate those kinds of stories, and I loathe Jane Austen!!!! YEAH, I SAID IT. At any rate, sure, send me some. I'll check it out. To be honest, this picture here is what sold me. I'd like to know who that character is and if he/she is as awesome as he/she looks.

There is another series I'm totally fangirling over but I haven't mentioned it much on LJ. .... I won't tell you what it is till later. :P

Well, poop on a stick! Tease! :D Not even a hint? Give me a seiyuu name?

Anything else that may be new that you'd like to see what it was like?

Not that I can think of at the moment. However, I am trying to pimp a series out to my friends - Berserk. You're probably familiar with that one already, but in case you're not, I made a post about it a week or so ago.

I'm up to Volume 23 and it's simply one of THE BEST mangas I have ever read. I'm sad that it doesn't attract a larger fanbase (or I'm just not finding the effing fanbase online), because I'm dying to discuss it with people. I'm sure the excessive gore and sexual context turn most readers off, but it barely registers with me these days, I'm so engrossed in what's happening with the characters.

Besides, it's a crime that more people don't know who Serpico is. ::points to guy on right side of current icon:: For he is ... the shit. ALL of the characters are, even Griffith, whom I loathe. But ... I love to hate him. It's all good.

because God, I don't want to end up with discs of store-bought anime I hate, i.e. Wolf's Rain.

I started to collect LE on dvd but right now I only have 2. I felt the ending was kinda rushed and was a bit wibbly over what all went on but I'm still buying it cause I like the animation and music. Whether or not I'll ever get around to finish collecting it is a different story.

YES!!! I SOOOOOOOOOOOOO totally agree with you Wolf's Rain. To this day, I still don't know why I bought it. I guess cause well, I am a sucker for the art and the dub for that one too and its just weird that I bought it cause I was sooooooooooooooooooo disappointed in the storyline overall. Funny thing is, I never even watched the dvd (I bought the boxset) and I only used the wolf plushie for my Kiba cosplay last yr. I'm trying to sell mine off too.

I think the link to the pic from EG is one of the main bad chicks. They haven't showed her in that outfit yet, she's still wearing her bulky uniform. I'm still in my induced squee moment after seeing what went on in #19. ('bout damn time too!!!)

Well, poop on a stick! Tease! :D Not even a hint? Give me a seiyuu name?

Hmmm...well the boy on my LJ layout is the main character from said series and I'm using an icon from the series as well. It involves past lives of certain characters and its also part mech show as well. :P Funny how the main boy's seiyuu isn't know but MY GOD is he a HOTTIE!!!! Here and here.

Other seiyuu's from that series is Vash, Ed (FMA), Griffith (Berserk) Isshin (Bleach), and a few more that may or may not be known.

The music is composed by Yoko Kanno which I will also be sending you the OST as well. And the art I think is just sooo pretty, I can't wait if and when they release an artbook for this series.

I've heard about Berserk and was given a run down about the anime but I never really looked into it. One of these days I just might. Maybe once a few of these series I've been watching ends so I don't have to worry about having things pile up on must read or watch.

From: [identity profile] yankeerose69.livejournal.com

Nothing on the release of the movie yet. From the sounds of it, they usually wait till it comes out on dvd and believe me, once that happens, I'm sure the subbers will snatch it up quick. And not only that, I'm sure you'll hear about it on your flist when its finally available *lol* I'd say maybe by the end of the yr to the beginning of next yr, pends on how fast they work on it.

Re Wolf's Rain: A friend of mine kept telling me to watch it, since she intro'd me to Trigun, I figured I'd like it. I struggled through extreme BOREDOM that was the first two discs of episodes, waiting for SOMETHING to happen. I hated most of the characters, the story was boring, and ... blah. The music and animation were the only redeeming qualities. Horrible anime. And they have MANGA for this now, too. Who's watching this fucking series?

Re the Mystery Series: After cross-referencing the seiyuu, etc, I have to ask - is it a Gundam series? I've tried to watch GW a few times and it never did click with me.

Re Berserk: The anime and the manga are similar in that they follow the storyline, but Pakk is a pretty important character later on in the manga and he was left out of the anime. Skull Knight was left out, too, but he should've showed up right about where the anime ended. He's extremely important as a purveyor of information about what the hell's going on to the reader and Gatsu. The blood, sex and questionable content are GREATLY reduced in the anime. It's still pretty edgy, just nowhere near the level of its manga. The anime's great if you want to see if you can get into the story, but the manga give a much clearer explanation of everything.

Re Wolf's Rain: The music and animation were the only redeeming qualities.

I totally agree.

Horrible anime. And they have MANGA for this now, too. Who's watching this fucking series?

They need to be drug out into the streets and shot for creating such a shitty storyline. Getting our hopes up and end up killing everyone off, give me a fucking break. They lost my interest when they did that damn eps or two of fucking flashbacks from the earlier eps, PLUS with the fact that there were certain things that was NEVER explained in regards to the Noble's and all that shit.

Re the Mystery Series: After cross-referencing the seiyuu, etc, I have to ask - is it a Gundam series? I've tried to watch GW a few times and it never did click with me.

No, not a gundam series though it does have a good bit of mech fights. Thats why I'm only going to burn you like the first 6 eps or however many eps I can get on 2 discs.

Once Bleach quits clouding my brain, I need to write myself a note on trying to dl the Berserk manga.
