[Bleach] Renji is on crack and Ikkaku is love
OMFG! I laughed so hard when I saw the scans of this when it was posted on Soul Society. I'm going to have to paste what was said cause its a locked entry. kirimi for posting it. I also didn't post all the pics nor the complete rundown of it, just the bits that amused me.
These are scans from the Jump Festa Anime Tour 2005 (JFAT'05) program book. As you may remember, there was a BLEACH feature anime at JFAT'05 called BLEACH ~The Sealed Sword Frenzy~. The scans below show some screen shots from the OVA, which is not yet available on video. Currently, the only way to watch this anime is to go to JFAT'05 yourself. The program book is also available only at JFAT'05, and is not for sale anywhere else.
I (mostly) translated a summary of the anime story that came with the screen shots. So, beware of SPOILERS! As this is an original story not based on the manga, there's very little in terms of spoilers for the manga (or TV series), except minor details about bankai and such. Also, while Kubo-sensei did not write this story, he designed the main villain character who appears in the story.
Cast of characters appearing (I'm not repeating the voice actor cast, since it's the same as the TV series.)
Ichigo, Rukia, Isshin, Karin, Yuzu, Kon, Jinta, Yoruichi, Ichimaru, Kenpachi, Hitsugaya, Kyouraku, Ukitake, Soi Fong, Renji, Yachiru, and Hanatarou.
Baishin (CV: Nakata Jouji)
Baishin is a terrifying shinigami who was sealed by the Soul Society in a temple in the human world. When he touches his opponent's zanpakutou, he is able to absorb their spiritual energy.
On a typical and peaceful day at Kurosaki Clinic, they receive an unexpected guest... The fellow was dressed in a black suit, with dark sunglasses, and toting a rifle. It's... Abarai Renji. Who demands Ichigo to show himself.
Renji: I'm a cop! No matter how you look at it, I'm a cop!! <-- Someone's been watching the wrong kind of television drama.
Ichigo calls Renji on his utter stupidity, causing Renji to er, lose his cool. They meet Rukia in a nearby fast food restaurant, where Renji explains why he's in the human world. For some reason, Hanatarou has also been assigned here, but...why on earth is he waiting tables at the restaurant?
Renji says "hello to my little friend!" or "go ahead and make my day punkass" *giggles* He looks so dorky with his hair down in a ponytail. OMG! Did he just shoot a path through Isshin's hair in the small panel above?

And last, what is wrong with this pic of Renji? I'm sure its just the artist fuck up when it came to his markings. There is none on his neck and we don't even see a peek of a black smudge on his chest either. Funny how he also got his funky glasses back too. He actually looks, dare I say, naked without the extra markings? Its understandable when he was little but not when he's grown up.
God I can't wait till this is released.
As for Ikkaku, after seeing the scans for 202 and his role so far, he gets majorly majorly love from me. Same goes for Keigo. But I'm glad to see that Baldy is getting some support and love from the peeps now, more than before so it seems. ♥ ♥ ♥ Now I gotta either find some icons of him or plead my icon making flisters on coming up with something (yes, that means YOUscarbie *bats lashes prettily*)

I doubt that I'll ever stop fangirling over Renji. Its funny how he became my favorite considering how much of an asshole I thought he was when I first saw his character (but it changed when I realized why he was behaving like that for).
There are times when I try to get into Bya but I guess those hard nosed, overly serious characters take a bit for me to warm up to.
Any moment when they can put Renji next to Rukia, it always gets my inner fangirl to turn to mush. Besides, there doesn't seem to be enough RenRuki love as it is. Damn love triangles, I think they thrive off of it.

Renji does look naked without his markings. Hmmm, I wonder what's up with that? I can't wait to see this. I love the bad guys voice actor. His voice is gorgeous.
Yay! I'm so happy that Ikkaku's getting more love. He's such a great character. *hangs head in shame* And I suck for not having any icons of him.

Oh god, when my eyes hit the restaurant scene, I squeed quite loudly, good thing I was the only one home. Ya know, she could've chosen anywhere she wanted to sit or sit next to. Or even if Renji was the one to sit next to her, she could easily tell him to sit elsewhere and not to near to her.

I wanna see BIGGER pics of Renji in those civilian clothes KT puts him in. Hell, the cover of what the Bleach Beat Collection looks like of....................again, Renji and Rukia and *nosebleeds* the outfit that Renji is in holy hell!!! And he looks wet from the rain too. The pic itself would make for a good fic.
