uumm....or at least I think so ^_~. Tuesday I had my XP training at work for 3-4 hrs but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I still don't like XP though. I still use Windows '00 while bubba has XP. The dude explained some things that I never really knew before as to what they do through the company and such when it comes to the network, same with when the system security dude did his little presentation for 45 mins. I'll do my pissy rant and such in the next entry since I thought I would post the better news first.
So after training was over, my supervisor told me previously that I didn't have to come into work that night or even stay for the rest of 2nd shift. But to be on the safe side I asked him anyways and lucky for me, he was at the front desk in the lobby before I left. He said to just put on my timesheet my reg hours ^__^, so I get paid for not only the training but I didn't have to worry about work! I'm glad he arranged it that way cause I only had a short 2hr nap at Rose's place. Kinda sucked cause I'd rather have spent my time catching up on things with her instead of having to chat and run.
Got home that night around 5:30, helped hubby out a bit before he had his meeting and then dilly dallyed on the compy till I finally got sleepy around 10. What sucked ass was trying to sign into AIM and it kept giving me problems, not sure if my username was shown on ppl's lists but my buddylist wouldn't load so I gave up on it. Course later it finally worked again but by that time I was too tired to chat which sucked too cause I saw War Dove just came on and I wanted to see how she's been feeling as of late. Note to self: must write her an email before she heads out to Ohayocon on Fri.
Today (wed. that is) was such a lovely day! It was around 70 degrees O__O which is nice but I wish the weather would make up its mind considering how chilly it was the day before. Actually got a few things accomplished outside. Helped bubba out a bit on taking down the x-mas lights, I then got in the mood to rake the leaves in the front yard while he then later ran over the piles with the lawnmower and attachement to make it easier, managed to not get blisters while raking (used my noggin to put gloves on), washed the car, and then we went out to eat at Olive Garden. I did want to give the cat a much NEEDED and due bath but didn't have the time, hopefully tomorrow will work out.
After we ate (which I'm still kinda full x__x), we went to Best Buy and we now have laser mouses for our compys! That is I still have to get mine installed but that will be such a joy, the ball type mouse gets on my nerves and collects too much mouse terds aka dirt. ^__^
I got word that my 1xR dj Since 8 and Bambi Takada's artbook dj (same artist as Since series) was shipped so HOPEFULLY by the end of the week I should have them, hell we pre-ordered customers have been waiting since early Sept. with the dates keep being pushed back cause of Ms. Takada's personal issues. At least she's still true to us Heero and Relena fans, for how long though, only time will tell and when she does finally quit drawing that couple, I think I will cry. (but bubba and our account will be smiling)
Also got word that my Salve Regina 7 & 8 books were shipped out too and I've been dying to see whats all been happening in that series. Can't read a lick of japanese but a pic says a million words (now only if they were in english ^_~)
Lars gave me good news tonight that she FINALLY sent out my much belated X-mas package, which I can't wait to see too.
Been reading up some translations to the Full Metal Panic novels that ruri has been so ever kind to post to us fans and some parts left me smiling, other parts making me truely TRUELY dislike Tessa more and more (and I'm glad to see I'm not the only fan out there who feels the same way) The novels I seem to enjoy reading more as time goes by cause it gives more indepth areas than what the anime has left out, especially when it comes to Sousuke and his now budding feelings or should I say "strange warm feelings" regarding Chidori ^___________^. The translations have helped out so much cause it makes it a bit easier to base a fic on.
Thats all the happy news that I can conjur up, I kinda dread doing my pissy entry next but it needs to be done.
GAH! I just realized I forgot to call my sister last night -_-. Guess I have to remind myself on doing that later today.
