Had yesterday off for the holiday though this yr it seems weird. Half the ppl I know that would normally have off didn't, same goes with the school kids here. Yet on MLK day, it seemed like nearly EVERYONE had off except me. Oh well, it gave me a 3 1/2 day weekend. I didn't do SQUAT yesterday except wash the bedsheets, take naps, and burn recorded shows to dvd.

I still have some cleaning up to do, especially in my room since I had to just about clear off my whole compy stand 2 weeks ago when bubba was working on the new internet lines. I need a container to hold all my anime discs in so I can keep them in order and not clutter up the shelves on my stand. Anyone have any ideas for containers and what not?

Sunday at B&BW wasn't too bad though I think it could've moved more smoothly if we had a pricing gun. Instead, we had to tear off these price stickers and re-price the Fragrant Body Care line. Just a heads up, everything went up by 50 cents. Hell, its bad enough that place is expensive and now they are jacking up their prices?! I don't know how many were called in to help with the re-ticketing but only 5 of us showed up and I must say, for only 5 ppl, we covered alot of ground. And because of that, we did the work that we were supposed to come in for today. Thank GOD we don't have to work today now and I can treat today like a reg. Monday schedule. Have to work again next Sunday night for more floor almanacing.

I show up like 15mins before 10am and no one was even there. I called bubba to make sure I wrote it down right and he said I did. A little after 10, then the one manager shows up. The roads were barely icy, even the overpasses weren't bad. Even I used my brain and left the house a little earlier just in case the roads were bad. Apparently no one that I work with there thinks ahead of time when it comes to weather like this.

I finally sat with bubba last night and watched last night's House as well as the previous eps he had recorded. I fell asleep during the one where the kid on the 4wheeler got burnt so I'll have to re-watch that today to see just what the hell was wrong with him. Bubba wants the dvds and I told him that right now, they are too expensive unless we look into getting each other something $ for our wedding anniversary next month.

Just a heads up (especially you [livejournal.com profile] rule_discordia), I'll be making a locked entry later today with some music to download. If you just want the link Julie if you see this post, let me know and I can send you the link elsewhere.

Myuuuuusic? Hmmmm.... ::interested::

Also sad...because Dir en grey is going to be in Austin on Mar 17 and it's "industry people only". Grr!

I save up my Replay coupons and invest in huge cd binders (like 320 or whatever it is). I have one of those, and several smaller ones that are roughly sorted into music, movies, tv/anime shows and comp. programs. I'm a visual person, so I do better being able to see what eps/discs I have, rather than trying to remember when I had them temporarily in a spindle.

The music I have uploaded that I made a locked entry for was the Dean Martin stuff and new Foo Fighters. If you want any of them, let me know and I can give ya the link.

WTF does that mean for industry ppl? And why are they so fucking special for?

Yeah that is a good idea, I forgot all about that since a friend of mine did that for her's. But since I got OODLES of anime, I would need ALOT of binders. What I've been doing as of late on my cd sleeves is writing on the front what series is in it instead of having to keep pulling the cds out just to check.
