I LOVE their movies. I'm a sucker for the classic movies as well as the music. As I said to the person below this comment that its like a dying breed. I bought the Rat Pack's X-mas cd 3yrs ago and I may not enjoy X-mas anymore or half the X-mas songs that they play out the ass on the radio but I'll still listen to the Rat Pack and enjoy it that way.
Someone told me once that I was born in the wrong era for how my tastes are. Though I think my influence with all the things I like is from my mom.
I should be getting a package from mom this week and in the box is the book that Jerry wrote called Dean and Me. I saw Jerry on Larry King Live either in Dec or Jan and it was so sad when Jerry would talk about Dean (he was on the show to promote the book). To this day, he still gets choked up over Dean's death. OOH! Jerry also said that sometime this spring or just sometime this yr, they plan on releasing the dvd sets of Jerry and Dean's movies. I can't wait!
Mom told me that at her work, aside from books they shuffle through but they also deal with dvds and said that they handle the Dean Martin Variety Show that she said she'll keep an eye out for me to send.
I'll make a post sometime in the morning with the downloads.
I'm glad you like 08th. That is one of my fav. Gundam series aside from GW. And I've been MEANING to comment on your LJ about it since you've been back but have you made a detailed entry about your trip to Hawaii? I'd love to hear about it, lucky you! Any pics perchance?
