This show rocks so hard core (literally!!) I love the idea of death metal band members trying to go grocery shopping and are so spoiled/pathetic when they can't even cook.

Brandon Small is a fucking genius to create such a show (hey, he is the mastermind behind Home Movies)

OH SNAP! Looking at the credits, I'm not sure if they are guest voices or permanent voices for the duration of the show but those listed are Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield (of Metallica) and Mark Hamill (if it is THE Mark Hamill they are talking about).

It would be THE Mark Hamill. He does a lot of cartoon voices these days.

I knew he did voices but I guess he was the last person I would've thought of to do a voice for this show. I'm curious as to what character he did though since I couldn't find any info so far on it.

I was quite pleased with it.

I hope they keep it as the band just fumbling around and don't try to bring a real plot into it. That would suck.

I don't think that they will bring a real plot to it. It just wouldn't feel right if they did and add to the fact that it would probably get boring.

I have a hard time trying to get that coffee jingle out of my head.

I thought it was ok, apparently I missed half the things they were saying (Murderface, mostly), but I'll wait to see future episodes and see if it gets better.

Not just Murderface but the whole band was so hard to understand what all they were saying. They need to offer this series with subtitles. I think with Murderface, they are probably basing his character on Ozzy. The grocery store had me in stitches, especially the singer trying to be serious on doing the price check and the blond being sick on hitting on the GMILF.

Sometimes I think you have to understand the death metal side of things in order for it to make sense.

At least for the most part, networks like that are starting to have the eps on their websites now to preview before it actually airs on tv. Or if you missed the eps that night, you can always go to the site and watch it that way.

I saw but I can't promise anything just yet. Sometimes the prompts they choose for that character is so hard to write something for (and sometimes the choices are obsured or just don't make sense for said character). Wish me luck though.

Good luck on the job situation. To also brighten up the mood, I started writing HimeIchi for the quickies. I'm almost done with Watch and am hoping to get pill and dvd done this weekend. (pill and dvd will probably be written as one).
