Sakura-Con's Japanese guests

I think I just want to fucking cry.

Seattle, WA- 2-6-2007 Sakura-Con is pleased to present four new Guests of Honor: Hideyuki Kurata, Kouta Hirano, Yashuhiro Nightow and K.T. Gray.

Fucking NIGHTOW man!!!! And of course Hellsing's creator as well (though he already did Otakon).

Knowing my luck, the Texas cons this yr ain't going to have shit again for guests and since I'm trying to decide on Otakon, I wish Otakon would start making announcements who they are getting before I waste my money on nothing.

Anyone going to Sakura-Con think they might have a chance to stand in any autograph lines? I'd love to have something of my Gungrave stuff signed by Nightow.

Oh, I met Nightow at Otakon a few years ago. Funny guy. XD When a fan asked him how he was so good, he answered in English "God came down to me." LOL My friend got her Kuroneko-sama plushie autographed. haha

At least you have a con to go to. The closest one of any significance that happens in Canada is one province over, but who the hell would I go with?

And who's Nightow? I'm assuming he's a creator of some anime? I definitely recognized Kouta Hirano. I'd love to meet him. He gave me Alucard, my guilty pleasure ♥

Btw, Rest and HC's newest GinRan doujinshi arrived for me today. LOVE. Renji was so yummy with his hair down...

Yeah, I feel the same way. I'm so used to the "posse" that comes down here for Afest that we hang with but if it were any other con elsewhere outside of TX, I'd be lost or by myself.

God, doesn't Rest just ooze pure sex!? (aside from the actual sexing going on *lol*) I thought it was pretty awesome to make a book with Renji with his hair down. It seems like such a cute story too, I can't stop looking through that book.

For sure! Then again, I get that way when certain big cons get the awesome guests yet one of the big cons in TX (A-Kon) still doesn't get shit for guests or it seems to be the same ones over and over again.

It would seem that way. Though I would drop anything in a heartbeat if a con got Beat Crusaders to perform. In fact, between them and KT, I would do anything I could to be at that con. I still don't know what I want to do about Otakon since it will be my first one to attend and I want to spend my 30th bday having fun with things I like and friends around.
