I think.
This is such a random post, I can't help but to make it that way.
Played racquet ball with Bubba on Fri morning at the gym and needless to say, I think that's the last time I play with him. I'm surprised I made it out of the court alive or with everything in tact. The amount of times I was hit with the ball I'm thankful I'm not covered in bruises though I'll be even more surprised if the area on my gut where I got smacked with the ball doesn't turn an ugly color. And then I got to thinking, HOW IN THE HELL do the Jackass guys do it??!! It's been so long that I played too, I believe when I was in Kuwait '96. We played for an hr Fri morning and it wore my ass OUT! But it felt good.
# of places I was hit with the ball: right cheek, left asscheek, right shin, and the two that I was hit at the hardest my forehead and stomach.
Went out to the lake on Sat. to help move a china cabinet and then have dinner at my b-i-l's mother's place. Food was good but I HATE IT with a passion on eating LATE! Hell, not long after we were done, we had to head home. Had to miss out on the chocolate bday cake too for my b-i-l. :(
Sunday, our small motorcycle group went down to Ft.Hood but didn't really have the time to go on base. We'll do that later in the months. But at least we got to stop by and see Bubba's friend's family for a little bit to drop off a baby gift. It WAS supposed to be partly cloudy and in the mid 70's but the majority of the time at least on the trip down, it was sooooo cloudy, we were afraid it was going to rain. Plus Bubba didn't listen to me when I said about taking our lighter jackets but it wasn't overly cold to where we were freezing. We had our pullovers on so that helped a little bit. The sun THEN decided to peep out from the clouds on our long journey back. *grrr!*
Been feeling a bit blah today after donating plasma this morning. It's very rare that this will happen to me but I nearly passed out right before the machine started up to finish my session of putting saline into me. The fucking blood pressure cuff started to air up and wouldn't stop, pretty much to the point where my hand & arm was turning numb, I was sweating profusely, and just couldn't breath right. Of course right before I was about to yell for one of the techs to get their fucking ass over to me, then the damn machine went back to normal to finish up it's job. *GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!* Ever since that, I just felt off kilter all day. Maybe it cut off oxygen to my brain.
Also as of late, I feel like I lost some of my productive streak when it comes to writing. I just sit around and veg at the monitor as if waiting for something to jump start me. I guess it doesn't help that I've been getting distracted by the shiny of watching Beat Crusaders videos on YT. *mmmmmm.....licks*
I guess now every time I hear Ikkaku's Bleach dub voice, I'm just going to picture a bald Ed Elric since Vic is doing Ikkaku's voice. Here's something I also noticed AGAIN about the dub. WTF is up on whoever is in charge of setting up the dub voices??!!! So far, two characters that have a deep voice got fucked over with a higher pitch dub; Renji and Shunsui. Shunsui does NOT sound sexy at all and has NO deep whiskey laden voice either. Yet they got Kenpachi's dub down alright so what the fuck gives!!!???
OMFG! I watched a soon to be new release dubbed anime I dl'ed last week, at least the first 2 eps they had available. It made me realize just how much I truly love the series. And HOLY SHIT! I'm so impressed with the dub voices and that is just in the 1st eps. I still have yet to watch #2 to hear how the singing is. I'm not going to say what it is cause I might just make a post about it this coming week. *fangirls hard*
I TOTALLY need to get off my lazy ass and get a HUGE ass post typed up on all the stuff I'm selling. Consider it a HUGE spring cleaning sale. AND post my god damn pics I took in PA from '05 & '06.
So it seems that I won't be making it to Otakon this yr. Why is it, the yr I want to fucking go, NO ONE is going. During the times when I can't go, then EVERYONE fucking goes!!! I thought Otakon would be a neat thing to do cause of it being, like, ON MY BIRTHDAY! Though it sure would be nice if these cons could get on the ball on announcing their guests.
I sooooooo want to go to Japan this year for various reasons of course though I know I'd end up going by myself (or if someone wanted to go with me) since Bubba said he has no interest in going. How sad is it that the main reason is to want to see a band perform live? I mean hell, if they aren't going to come to the states, might as well go to them right? It doesn't have to be on my birthday, just as long as it's sometime this year. I don't want the yr of my 30th bday to be fucking shitty! *sigh* Hopeful wishful thinking.

Dude!!! If I totally had the funds, I'd SOOOO go to Japan & see D'espairsRay perform. They're awesome!!! Unfortunately, they wont be performing the US this yr... They're only concentrating in touring in Europe & Japan only this yr. Pissed several fans off... =/

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. It just kills me that when everyone plans on going to a con, those are the times I never have the chance to do so. When a few of us all want to go, then those that went the yr before aren't doing so.
Even if I were to still go, I would only go on Sat cause to be honest, I just don't feel the excitement I used to when the con scene was still fresh to me. Now it's pretty much the same shit and the same blahblahblah from VA's. The only thing that would make me change my tune is if they had a guest I never had the chance to see before or a band I'd be FINALLY interested in seeing. Plus alot of these cons as of late haven't been offering much to my liking to spend that kind of money on. Fuck, I didn't know Otakon was that expensive! And the thing that sucks about the way I feel about cons, is that I still have so many things I'd like to cosplay as.
Oh believe me, if I were to ever go to Japan, I would be a camera nut.

I'm crossing everything on my body that this yr will be good to me. The last bday that I really enjoyed was my 18th. My 16th was nothing to sneeze at and I spent my 21st bday in Kuwait so there was nothing special going on there either.

Your obsession with D.Ray is how I've been lately for Beat Crusaders. So I feel your pain but at least you already had the chance to see your band.
Hmmm...do you happen to know if D.Ray do the Japan Rock Festival's that go on during the summer? From what I've seen, Beat Crusaders try to attend as many of them as they are offered. I think they've been performing at those things since '04 up till last yr. That'd be kinda neat if both our bands were doing the same festival but the only thing with that (aside from being in Japan) is arriving pretty early to get near the stage. If not, then you're fucked if you are stuck in the middle or neat the back of the crowd cause us short ppl can't see shit. I experienced that when mom took me to see Aerosmith and we had to stand. I also had the shitty experience with that though indoors this time when my b-i-l got us tixs for M.Manson and it was out on the floor at the Spectrum. That sucked so bad.

I want to go see Beat Crusaders play live. The last time they came to the US was a small West Coast tour back in '00. Aside from their pixilated masks of their faces, they're known for their engrish lyrics. Which I must say, Hidaka sings pretty damn good for english even if their lyrics don't make sense sometimes. And it's really rare to hear him sing any songs in Japanese. He said he spent a year in Kansas so maybe he got a bit of english learning while there.
Plus they have another single coming out in April so that'd be neat if that would help them tour more or even expand but *shrugs*. If you click on LIVE on their website, it tells you so far where they will be at. Have you heard of those areas?
Since I don't see them coming to the US anytime soon, I'd love to see them even if I have to find some way to go to Japan to see them. The band isn't getting any younger and neither am I!

But how neat would that be of actually going to Japan together? How has prices been lately do you know when it comes to flying over there? I thought that it wouldn't hurt to look into these things and try to plan something out for summer if it's affordable to an extent.
