Well as I have been reading on yahoonews about how it seems EVERYONE is being blasted with this cold front. Granted that the south doesn't see too much cold weather but hell, it is winter, what do some ppl expect? And yes it may come upon areas quickly but if it is predicted (and not all the time they are acurate too), then what gives?
I'm not overly shocked on how cold its been for the past few days for us here in Texas since we had our days a few months ago. But I agree with hubby, if it has to be this fucking cold, then it needs to snow, it just sucks when its cold for no reason and not have anything to go with it (we can do without the freezing rain, i just want snow). As with yesterday and early this morning, its not so bad when its really cold out but its the wind that we could do w/out as well since it makes it worse.
I like the cold in some moments cause you get to bundle up in your comfy winter clothes, snuggle in comforters, light the fireplace if you got one, and try to steal others body heat. Speaking of body heat, I asked my older sis to see if I wasn't the only one in my family who feels like a furnace. I could be naked and still produce alot of body heat. She says she gets the same way and I think my dad was the same way too. The only thing that gets cold on me quick are my feet or my nose. And as strange as I may be, I'm also the kind that will be wrapped up in a heavy comforter during the summer while we have the AC running. It could be just that any kind of blankets give me that sense of security.
And this entry probably is just a bunch of crap but I'm stuck on how I want to write my Hellsing kissing ficlet and stuck on how I'm trying to compose the rest of my FMP kiss ficlet too. *sigh*
